Reviews of Days Inn by Wyndham Moab
"Horrible property. Manager doesn't seem to care about the property or the guests. I fully understand different cultures and that the manager and family live on-site, but the entire property smells strongly of curry, even in the guest rooms. No one was at the front desk my entire stay, you had to call the property to get someone and the worst part: their "free breakfast" consisted of these little pre-wrapped cupcakes in a cooler. That was it. Nothing hot, prepared, no protein. It was bad enough that I took a pic so I had proof when they emailed me for a review. Stay away from this property when in Moab, the manager truly doesn't care about your experience."
"Do not come there. Go someplace else. Price way too high for what they have. Nobody at the desk to help. NO breakfast, NO coffee, NOTHING. Rooms updated but bathroom floors are filthy. Garbage around the doors into the hotel. It is a pit."
"This was probably the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. It started at check in. The start of the interaction being having to call for someone to be at the front desk it wasn't particularly late so was slightly confused but wasn't overly phased by this. The lady at the front desk was friendly enough. I got myself all paid for when she asks if I have any pets. I state. I don't have a pet but I do have my service dog with me. This is when she insists that I pay a pet deposit with cash. I then repeated I have a service dog. A trained medical device. She continued to insist on a pet fee being paid until I pointed out it is against ADA federal law for her to charge me for my service dog then the topic was dropped. For a location that is advertised as Service Animal Friendly you would think they would be educated on what service animal means. After I got my keys I go to my room it wasn't awful you could see some wall patch work but not a huge deal but then I started to look closer. The sheet had black charcoal like stains, there was a heavy layer of dust on most things. It looked like all they had done to prepare the room was place some towels. Make the bed (with the same sheets as the last guest) and lightly vacuumed the floor. The bed sheet was visibly clean on one side of the bed so I decided I could handle this for 2 nights. The next morning I got up to go breakfast as it was supposedly included. Only to find out that there was only stale cereal not even milk to go with it. There was places for bread, waffles, fruit but nothing was out. So I went to where there 24/7 hot drink machines are only to find they were empty and disgusting likely never cleaned. The lobby also smells of old curry. I would suggest going somewhere else there are plenty of cheaper places with better reviews or spend the extra money to go somewhere nicer. This place is not worth your money."
"Not sure how it’s 3.5 bc every review is 1/5??? Dirty, sheets were not changed in my room and it was clear someone had peed multiple times in the chair and left old urine stains. My sheets had an actual dirty footprint in the center. Good location, would just camp over this or pay for a real hotel. No one is at the desk, you have to call their cellphone, so they don’t even pay a front desk person."
"The hotel itself is very misleading when it comes to pictures. It is the cheaper version of all the ones around but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pay the extra $20-40 a night to stay at a bit nicer of a hotel. There was never a front staff, just a phone number to call if you needed help. The room itself was dirty and needed a lot of love and attention. DO NOT turn on the ceiling fan, it’s filthy with dust. The whole room seemed like it had never been dusted. Upon further looking into the room because we had a three year old with us, there was pistachio shells under the bed (we had none of these). The only good thing about the hotel itself was there was no bugs, we counted our blessings and just called it a night. The amenities say there is a pool, theirs didn’t work.Every other hotel in Moab was up and running. It’s only a place for hot shower and sleep."
