"A few years back, my family had a good stay at this Super 8 while visiting Dinosaur National Park. We decided to make a return trip this Labor Day weekend. After a 300-mile drive, we arrived to find the atmosphere quite different this time, with a handful of people loitering and smoking outside. Inside, the hotel appeared neglected. As we headed towards our room, we encountered a couple of individuals in the stairwell who seemed to be under the influence. The stairwell itself was not well-kept, with trash and a broken railing. Once at our floor, we struggled with a malfunctioning key card. Meanwhile, we could hear loud arguing from the room next to ours. While trying to get our key issue resolved, we observed a man walking down the hall with a baseball bat. Although he didn't approach us, the situation made us uneasy. We left to get pizza, hoping things might improve. When we returned, it was clear some suspicious activities were occurring in the hotel. At this point, my kids were uncomfortable, and since no other hotels in the area had availability due to the holiday, we decided to drive back home. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not family-friendly. I found it ironic that the front desk displays a 'Welcome' sign and a family portrait. Given the current conditions, I doubt the owners would choose to stay here themselves. We won't be returning and suggest others look for different accommodations."

"The rooms were decent for the price we paid. Although upon check out we was charged $15 for a small pink stain on their white towels. Kind of a set up when we have small children and they advertise “FREE ICE CREAM”. THEN lol when checking out the front desk put it in the system that we paid with a card when we paid with cash and having difficulty getting our damage deposit back. 9/10 would not recommend. We are way out of state (Washington) and their service and policies are an inconvenience."

"Room smelled of cigarette smoke odor and the room was NOT well kept. The breakfast was less than satisfactory. The room photos do not match reality. We left early, because it was just not a great place to be."

"I came to this place when I was traveling across the state at night. Service was ok. It's a cheap hotel so don't expect anything fancy. Everything is simple, including the rooms. The mattresses are not soft But the pillows are. Don't expect much for breakfast either. It's simple, muffins, coffee or cereal, waffles, yogurt. But it is enough to retake the road if you need to eat something fast and continue. They have pool and hot tub. And it's not expensive. I didn't have time to compare other options nearby but I wouldn't be looking to take a quick look and see options. For the price you pay, I think it's fine. Point in favor, everything was clean and without any smell."

"Toilet didn't flush thoroughly. I worried it would overflow with the simplest of loads. Entrance and parking did not have snow removed, was worried my little car would get stuck in the parking lot. In room heater was great with the sub zero temperatures outside! Quiet atmosphere. Room had a small fridge and microwave. Free breakfast had waffles, cold and hot cereals, fresh fruit, toast options, English muffins, cinnamon rolls, coffee and hot chocolate. Much better than juice and bagels that other motels offer! But still, not much protein..."
