"Called to order but was made to feel like an inconvenience so I cancelled and went somewhere else. I wish this could be a learning experience for you rather than blaming it on me and lying about what I said. You gave me attitude for asking questions. You told me you weren't busy so why were my questions so troublesome?"
"So yummy and conveniently located. The horchata is amazing!! Can’t wait to go back."
"Excellent food, great prices. Just what this stretch of Colfax has been lacking. Parking available at the rear of the building."
"Disappointing first experience... I wanted this place to be great, since it's around the corner from my house, but it was truly mediocre. I know they're just getting started, so hope they find their rhythm soon. Firstly, I tried the al pastor burrito and my wife got the chicken burrito - so scoring is based on the burritos (haven't tried their tacos). Here's my recommendations - 1. Confusing pricing - Make the pricing for add-ons more clear on the menu OR just make the basics free like everyone else! Basic add-ons like shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions are $0.50 each.... Really? I get it for the guac and crema - but let's include the basic ingredients for a burrito as part of the price. I was confused when my total bill came in $5 extra on two burritos. 2. Burrito Size - very underwhelmed by the size of the burrito. The basic burrito doesn't come with rice and even after adding a few add-ons (as above), the burrito still looked more like an oversized taco than a nice hearty meal. There just wasn't enough contents for the price. We didn't feel full after eating our burritos and had to search our cupboards for more grub after chowing down. I'd definitely recommend increasing the portion size to align more closely with burritos you'd find in other shops. 3. Again, this place is just opening up - so it wasn't bustling with people quite yet. Unfortunately that also meant that there was no sizzle coming from the grill as I entered the restaurant. Neither meat content (chicken or al pastor) tasted particularly hot (specifically the chicken almost tasted like it came from a can). The al pastor was ok, the chicken was a meh. Wishing these guys all the luck - I hope they modify a couple of the issues above and start to see a lot of business."
