"I rarely feel compelled to leave reviews, and least of all for plumbing supply stores, but in this case I feel I must. When I arrived holding the dirty stem of a 60 year old spigot, I expected to be told that without a part number, it would be impossible to help me. Or perhaps that the part was not sold separately, and my only recourse was to replace the whole spigot. Or--most likely of all, in my mind--that this store wasn't really set up to meet the needs of DIYers. I did not expect that the employee behind the counter would quickly retrieve the correct part from the back. I did not expect that he would then offer it to me for free because it was no longer up to code, and thus not legal to sell. And I certainly didn't expect that, after being asked whether I should replace my old spigot with one of the new, code-compliant models sitting on his shelf, this employee would advice me to stick with the free part he had offered. And yet this is exactly what happened. This employee lost his store a sale. In the process, he also gained his store a loyal customer for life. If you need something plumbing related, do yourself a favor and try here first."
