"I was blown away by Sazon! This was the most delicious and artful meal I have ever had in a restaurant. Starting with the 6 complimentary mole sauces when we arrived to the MOST delicious soup I have eaten in my life—poblano and crab the night we went, to the shrimp enchilada which reinvented the classic dish, this chef dishes out magic. Also excellent service, gorgeous original art covering the walls. Most fine dining establishments like this tolerate children at best. Here the chef genuinely welcomed our 12 year old with a gift on arrival and then visited our table to offer him a special culinary treat prepared just for him because the chef loves to make inspire kids to be adventurous with food. A fabulous, memorable evening."

"Excellent execution of upscaling Mexican food into the realm of fine dining, Sazon is quite the unique experience to be had. The ambience is luxurious despite deriving from humble colonial roots, the service is impeccable, and the food is delicious! While they do have a tasting course that we will have to try the next time we come around, we tried their a la carte menu, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant specializes in deep, flavory mole sauces, and starts off with a flight of them, allowing you to choose your favorite for a main dish. But that is certainly not all they do well. Their Salmon dish wrapped in filo dough become of my wife's favorite dish ever. Both the Signature Soup: Soupa De Amour and their Signature Dessert are brilliant world class delights that could be well suited on a Michelin Star menu. Unfortunately not everything we had was a winner. The deconstructed salad while plated nicely, simply did not really mix all that well to ward off the raw leafy vege taste. And, I regretted getting the chile en nogata dish, as it just wasn't satiating/savory enough for a main. I probably would have been far better off with the duck breast and mole I had been otherwise considering. All in all, we really enjoyed the experience and will come be again next time we're in town."

We highly recommend make a reservation, the food goes far beyond and the customer service makes the experience unique our server Megan was so helpful and gave us the best recommendation. We were surrender by art and loved each painting around us (Frida Calo ) The chef is going to be around just to make sure you get the best experience he is so friendly and kind. They have a special menu for vegetarians just asking for this... I have to say it was one of the best tofu that I tried before"

"Potentially the best fine dining option in Santa Fe. A delicious variety of mole-driven dishes that proudly put their cultural influences front and center while also retaining a familiar feel for those who might be new to this type of cuisine. Given the quality of the food, the atmosphere is refreshingly unpretentious and somehow both cozy and vibrant, featuring a variety of stunning artwork, warm colors, wooden beams, and quirky accents. Service is a standout - the staff is passionate and knowledgeable, but also approachable and attentive. The owner/head chef makes a concerted effort to check in on you and make sure your experience is a memorable one. Only small qualm: the sopa de amor was a bit overhyped. Skip it for the mole sampler platter, Brussels, and the truly spectacular zucchini blossoms (they were a special, but they were so good I think they should be made a regular menu item if feasible)."
