"Dr. Underwood was overseeing my elderly father's care during his inpatient stay at Peak View Behavioral Center in Colorado Springs in early April, 2019. She was dismissive, rude and highly unprofessional. I have a two-minute recording that appeared on my phone after she thought she hung up from a conversation we had. During this recording, she rants about me to her co-workers, calls me names, uses expletives, and fabricates lies about our conversation while her co-workers are nervously laughing in response. She demonstrated such a lack of compassion and understanding of the incredibly stressful journey my family was going through with my father's dementia that I cannot believe that she is suited for this profession or that she can be trusted to oversee anyone's care in a system that is already broken and compromised. She was part of the problem, not the solution, for my family and me."
"I have called De. Underwood twice to make an appointment. While she came highly recommended, she did not return either of my phone calls. I consider this irresponsible behavior - especially for a psychiatrist."
