"I am an over the road trucker. I am only home on the weekends. It is nearly impossible to find a mental health professional who has hours on the weekends. I finally had to settle for a over the phone appointment with Dr. Phillips. A day before the appointment I called his office to ask some questions about my appointment. His office didn't even know I had an appointment scheduled. They proceeded to tell me that Dr. Phillips had an emergency and couldn't make the phone call for my appointment and would have to reschedule. I was a bit upset for being forgotten, but I understood that these things happen and rescheduled. Dr. Phillips office called me four days before my rescheduled appointment date and asked me if i could move my appointment to the next day at 9:00 in the morning. I declined stating that that time would not work for me. I told his office I would like to keep my appointment schedule. They said that would be no problem. The day of my appointment I called Dr. Phillips office to inform them that I may be in a bad cell phone reception area around the time of my appointment, and asked them what the procedure was if the doctor couldn't reach me. They put me on hold to find out the answer to the question. When his receptionist came back, she said that Dr. Phillips couldn't make the appointment anyway. She said he had an emergency (another one), and was going to be out of the office. She then asked when I could reschedule. I told her not to bother. Dr. Phillips obviously has no respect for his patients time or mental health. He obviously has no understanding of how to establish a good first impression. He places no importance on establishing a sense of trust and comfort to a new patient with whom he has never even spoken to. This experience left me disgusted and more hopeless than ever. No apology was offered. Do not go to this doctor if you value your time or mental health because he does not."
