"My first time coming here and it was excellent! The front desk staff, the nurses, the lab, and the doctor were all attentive and very prompt! The follow-up was within hours of my appointment, and everything was taken care of for me. I definitely recommend this office for any hematology needs! Update August 2023: I just love Dr. Njiaju and NP Jenna Oropeza! Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurses to the doctors in this clinic are beyond wonderful! I love how there is a lab right in the clinic to get bloodwork drawn without having to go over to the hospital, there is parking right in front of this building, the bathrooms in this building are spotless, and the experience is just wonderful- considering why you have to come here. Very fortunate to have this clinic in COSP, and to have such fantastic customer service!"
"My father was diagnosed with cancer which is scary enough…I called the New Patient department to schedule our initial meeting with the team of doctors, being very new to this whole process and being given conflicting information- I was not sure how to proceed. Katie, the scheduler, was the rudest, most condescending, and unhelpful person I spoke to. She sighed and huffed when I was asking questions and was quite irritated when I was explaining the situation that was happening. She was so rude that we are asking to be referred somewhere else. If UCH is going to allow a person with a lack of professionalism and empathy to serve people who are sick, terrified, and in need of compassion and reassurance. I question how empathetic and competent their medical team is. Also, Katie has another complaint recorded on this Google review. My family was already having a hard and stressful day and Katie made it worse."
"Military referral and I had to call to check if my referral was there. The receptionist, Katie, was very rude to the point where I had to ask her if her day was going good. Not to mention, I left a voice-mail as a new patient and no return call whatsoever. I called my referral line and they told me they faxed my information two different days. Again, receptionist said she didn't see it, but was rude each time I called. So I went up there for myself with my referral authorization and spoke with someone else and they seen it in the system, both times referral was sent - mysteriously. When you have to deal with reception like this, it is bad for business, and thereby makes the whole establishment look bad. And if you don't want to deal with people, you shouldn't be at the front or answering phones period. If a person lacks customer service skills they should be tasked with things that doesn't involve them to have interactions with people. You never, ever wear your problems on your sleeve because it effects how you handle people. If you're having a bad day DON'T COME TO WORK."
"Dr. Iruku and Lisa Adam's are the most caring, and professional providers. I always feel better leaving after appointments with them. I have been impressed with the service and care I have received. The man at the front desk I'd always compassionate and helps so much with flexible scheduling."
