"My review got “deleted”. When i went around I had covid when forced unwillingly to go here so I needed to be in insolation. Which basically means I talked to nobody the whole time. Day one they didn't give me any food until I had to bang repetitively on the door (because I couldn't leave my room) they finally came 20 minutes later and told someone I didn't eat all day. I stared at a blank wall with no communication for 1 week. When I finally was allowed to leave I learned nothing had no therapy basically came out worse then when I got in. The day i left they lost my clothes so i had to leave in the scrubs they gave day 1. As well as they ubered me to the wrong hospital and when called they said they couldn't do anything and they don't care, luckily the uber GUY( I'm a small girl) i was stranded with was nice enough to help me find the right hospital. I'm not even from CO so i was literally stranded. Please dont reply with an automated message because I called and nobody cared about my experience, don’t recommend to NO ONE especially poc…"

"Cedar springs hospital was a good place to learn and grow in your mental health. It helped me so much! Staff are kind of funny The place wasent that clean but for the most part good!"

"Last month my overall stay was just fine, it was very chaotic with certain patients but the staff were super understanding, funny, kind, and patient. The food was pretty good from my experience, the only thing I lost was a single sock of mine there but that was easily replaced. There was an ant infestation, rooms weren't the best, beds were uncomfortable and hurt my back very badly. The shower products and hygiene products were terrible and dried up my hair. But I made friends and I even have some memories, it didn't help me mentally but for my first time in a mental hospital it was just fine."

"As a former patient 16 years ago on the adolescent unit, Cedar Springs not only helped me, but set forth a whole career path for me. In 2008 I was a patient of Cedar Springs on the Maple unit after trying to committ suicide. When I left Cedar Springs, I told myself I would one day help people the way they helped me. Now I do. I work in mental health now and help heal people the way I was helped. As someone who works on the back end now, I see how much work goes into this job. It's grueling, painstaking and honestly, alot of times the staff give all they can to the job. Working 50-60 hour weeks just to make the hospital run and yo help the patients."

"I have been a patient at Cedar Springs two times. Most recently on a 72 hour mental health hold. Given the sheer volume of mental health patients that they have to deal with, I commend both the staff and the overall quality of the facility itself. The food could use a bit of an overhaul and was going to give 4 stars, however the briskett on my last night was outstanding. Thanks for yiur help Ceadr."
