"I bought a sectional here, a big splurge for me at the time. What I didn’t know is that within a year I would be diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I can’t even tell you how many hours I spent on that couch, through some of the darkest days of my life. I’m five years cancer free now and living in southern Utah. My husband and I have moved the couch in and out of UHauls twice, I haven’t taken good care of it at all, and it’s still in fantastic condition. I’ve slept on it through three bouts of covid too.
