Reviews of Denver Springs Changes Parker
"I was very pleased with the PCA and Medical Staff. They were very through. Weeland and Joe, Jesse and Abby CJ and the other staff were very supportive. I have been in different places and found the groups very engaging and extremely well thought out and motivating. Mark on the Trauma Team was able to help me with addressing and releasing trauma that no other facility has been able to do or even offered. Courtney the therapist was top notch no bull . Dr Miller was least of my preference and stop pushing drugs like Seraquil. I will say the food was a huge motivater to getting discharged. It was horrible. The only complaint that I would have is with the intrusive micro management of upper management and new policies that were less than people or human capital supportive. When people choose a facility they do so because they no longer feel like humans and upper management needs to lighten up and remember that they are dealing with people not codes on a billing statement and that if not for the caring and very qualified staff they would not be nearly as profitable. Coming from a human relations background I would never put such policies in place the devalue your staff and make them the bearer to the people paying the bills."
"Wish I could give zero. I was beaten by an employee (I’m old) and I was denied medical care afterwards. The doctors are very poor listeners and don’t like their jobs. Avoid at all costs. I am taking them to court due to deep bruising."
"My Daughter attended the part time daytime program. Did little to actually help her and I had to pay my estimated out of pocket portion up front which was significant. Anyway we overpaid by about $700 and I have been trying to get someone from their billing department to issue a credit. I was able to reach them once after several attempts and they admitted that they owe me a credit and said it could take 4-6 weeks. 3 months later still no credit and they dont return my calls when I leave them a voicemail. Luckily I put it on Credit Card so I am going to work with the CC company to dispute the amount I was charged. My suggestion is find another facility to work with."
"Look elsewhere if at all possible! My child was in the inpatient program due to severe mental health issues and when discharged was to step down to the outpatient program as part of their care plan. They want all payments made in full before they will accept a patient and will. Not work with you nor do they have payment plans or arrangements of any kind. After paying out of pocket portion for their inpatient program a week ago we could not pay in full for the outpatient program immediately so we’re told sorry we can do another assessment if/when you can pay fees upfront but until then can’t help or accept child for treatment. So basically setting my child up for a backwards slide mental health wise after making progress to be left with no continued care. All they care about is money, not the well being of their patients. This is a horrible position to put families in especially the patient who is suffering already. They do not explain any of the financial requirements to you in their paperwork, they do not tell you this when they go over treatment plans and have you complete a ton of paperwork and basically spring it on you after you’ve so eveything and are starting treatment. Same thing happens with inpatient program after our child was already at the facility for several hours. Admin staff came in and told us what our cost was after insurance and then said payment was needed in full upfront and how did we want to pay? Believe all the negative reviews about this place because they are true!! Don’t send your child here!"
