"THE WORST experience I have ever had at any doctors office. I was unable to speak much as my throat was closing up and I was in pain trying to breath, swallow, speak etc. I wrote down a list of my symptoms and when the lady taking vitals asked me what was wrong with me, I tried showing her my list and she looked at it, rolled her eyes, and said she wasn't going to read that so I should just tell her whats wrong with me. I then managed to choke out "throat" and she proceeded to ask me "what about my throat?" and listed examples to which I barely was able to say "All of it" and in reviewing my medical notes later, she had made a snide comment about it in visit notes. Afterwards, I was taken to the back, given a strep test (they then apparently lost my strep test) and I had to ask 3 times for a covid test and they never did a flu test. Not only that, they told me to take ibuprofen every 6 hours for pain, then proceeded to give me meds and told me not to take ibuprofen for 72 hours due to the medication, but then on my checkout papers, my only instruction was to take ibuprofen every 6 hours (even though they told me not to??). Not only that but at the end of the visit, I was told that I do not have strep, papers were tossed into my lap, and i was told i could leave. I managed to ask for a COVID test at least because while my throat was bad, chills, cold sweats, nausea, and dizziness/passing out was not normal. Afterwards someone finally came in and did the test through both nostrils and then they told me to leave. I ended up walking out of the room by myself trying to find someone to show me where the exit was. I went home feeling worse somehow and with no answers on what was wrong with me. The next day, I see on my checkout papers that I can "review test results online" so i pulled up the site and THAT is how I found out that I had covid... Not a single person reached out to me to inform me of it even after a full week. (so if you don't have internet I suppose it sucks to be you and your coworkers when you bring the modern plague in due to lack of information.) Additionally, during my visit, no one informed me that I would be charged $112 for a COVID test... All in all, I regret not going to an out of pocket provider and spending an extra $400 out of pocket for actual help. I felt like the people here didn't give a damn about their patients and that we were all just another number/inconvenience to them."
"Took my elderly father in the day after Xmas. Very impressed with staff and treatment. They listened well, were so thorough, got us an Xray and a CT scan which only took an hour or so because the machines were all near each other in one hallway. Best experience I’ve had in any urgent care. Comprehensive, well executed, satisfied."
"Literally every care provider I interacted with from start to finish of my urgent care visit was completely great, and Dr. Sharma might be one of the coolest doctors I've ever been seen by, with a pretty unique and seamless balance of knowledgeable care and amazing, casually comforting bedside manner"
"Came to urgent care with my 9.5 month old on Labor Day. Easy check in, was seen by a doctor in about an hour after checking in. Received kind and thoughtful care from nurses and doctor. Prompt diagnosis and was able to pick up medicine from onsite pharmacy within 10 minutes of appointment end. Very pleased with overall experience."
"My father has been coming here for a number of years. To this point his care has been good. He has been in the hospital for the last three weeks and I feel like his doctors have done a fair job of trying to care for him. Everyone else in the system has been failing him! PT that is supposed to see him every other day shows up with one small person to work with him when he is 6' 4" and weighs 250+...they are aware they need two people but send one and then add another negative report to his file when they can't accomplish anything! We were told he would be going to rehab a week ago and after two days of anticipating a move we were told that the facility wouldn't accept him. He just languishes in the hospital developing additional problems! My brother thought he came up with a solution only to be told that they weren't in network...but Kaiser has no one in network that is willing to except him!!!!! Yeah he has Alzheimer's and isn't mobile due to a broken hip, but that doesn't mean we just ignore or throw him away."
