"I had a telehealth appointment with Dr.Smith and Dr. Barraza. They both were very thorough in the information they gave. Dr. Smith was straight forward and got straight to the objective. She already knew a lot about me and my health, which told me she reviews her patients chart with diligence. The knowledge she shared with us gave us a comforting feeling. "Unacceptable. We haven’t even met with Dr. Smith and we are disappointed with the lack of attention from her office. For starters, I went through insurance to confirm that she is in network for us. I called Dr. Smith’s office to confirm with them as well, and to know if/what we would owe at the time of the appointment. No call back. I reached out to the office 3x additional times with no response. When we showed up, we were told it would be close to $500 out of pocket for the initial appointment. Not communicating that or even calling us back beforehand is unacceptable. Our friend that had referred us to Dr. Smith (and raved about her!) encouraged us to write a review. When couples are stressed about infertility, this feels disrespectful."

Even though it can be hard to hear difficult information, it's helpful to meet with someone who has seen all sorts of cases and situations so you know where you stand.
