"Amazing experience. I got my MRI done here at 8:30 P.M, and for anyone wondering if they’re open for appointments that late into the evening, it’s not a typo, they are open! There was a scheduling mishap for my consult but the front desk was quick to fix and accommodate me, so I was seen by the provider in a timely fashion. From start to finish my experience has been great. The staff has been kind and very caring of my treatment and recovery. I was very nervous going into surgery but felt comfortable when the time came, from all the nurses, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Boublik. My physical therapist Caitlin has been a rock star as well. I was able to get on the schedule for my PT appointments as needed. I did have to be put on a wait-list for 1 visit, but it opened up fairly quickly. I highly recommend using the UC Health app if you’re not already doing so. The facility is busy but well kept and clean."
"Absolutely horrible, never go there. Firstly, I came into the doctors office originally having pain MAINLY in my RIGHT knee. He observed it, and said I’ll put in an order for an MRI. Perfect. Then, I looked at my portal and it says, “MRI for left knee”???? I called back to see if they can change it, they said “We checked with him, and he said he definitely checked your left knee and we can’t change it”. I was forced to get an MRI on my left knee. Went in a couple days later, everything was fine in my MRI, but the doctor gave me a cortisone shot in my left knee. He TOLD ME, I could workout the next day. I worked out the next day, ended up straining my left leg. The leg that wasn’t even giving me any trouble. Naturally, I panicked. My legs swoll up and bruised. I think anyone would think “something is wrong”. I scheduled an appointment with the doctor. He just walked in and first thing he says to me is, “I don’t know why you’re here. You should just cancel your appointment.” The whole appointment, I was trying to explain to him what was wrong, but he kept interrupting me. I felt like he didn’t care about hearing what I had to say. I felt like I was an inconvenience for him, I was wasting his time. He assumed I wanted him to give me another cortisone shot or surgery, which I don’t want at all in reality. But if he would have asked me and listened to me, he would’ve known I never want that shot again and surgery scares me. But he just assumed I wanted a shot and surgery. I just wanted him to simply look at it, hear me out and listen, see if it’s strained, see if he had any recommendations for home remedies I could try. But no, I sat there about to cry, hands shaking, biting my lip really hard (a coping mechanism I have when I’m nervous), having a grown man tell I’m basically crazy and I need to leave. I’m a 23 year old girl, that had a grown man gaslight me. Very unprofessional. I felt very anxious, belittled, not important. I felt uncomfortable. I paid a $40 copay for a doctor to tell me to basically leave. I was so upset and sad after the appointment. I went home and cried. I am not going to be returning."
"Don't bother with Steadman - refused to deal with me or work with me. Medical gaslighting, nasty, passive aggressive. My doctor sent me elsewhere and they refused to share the MRI or XRays my insurance company (me) paid for. I wasn't rude or mean to them they take the absolute prize on both accounts. Go elsewhere it's just easier and betteer experience. Their palatial office tells you where their heads are. I am partially disabled. They destroyed my peace."
"My wife was in a UC Health ER on Monday (12/11/23) for balance and motor issues. After that visit we were referred to the neurology department here. We were supposed to receive a call within 24 hours to schedule her appointment. By Wednesday I was attempting to call their office. Called the provided number multiple times, but all it does is ring and ring never even reaching voice-mail. So I decided to drive down to the office in case they moved or some other problem may be occurring. When I get there I easily set an appointment on Thursday for 1:00 pm. As I left I said to the receptionist "I'll see you tomorrow at 1:00." No correction was given. However, when we arrived today (12/14/23) at 1:00 we were told that the appointment was at 9:40 am and that the 1:00 pm appointment was for 12/21/23. I can accept that I was wrong about the week, but a 9:40 am appointment was never discussed. I had no idea where it came from or why we would have two appointments set for a place we had never been. Now we have no appointment despite my wife's condition she's set to return to work on Monday with effectively zero treatment of her severe symptoms."
"Like others have said in reviews, the admin side here is terrible. My experience is mainly with the Physical Therapy and if you value your sanity GO DO PT ELSEWHERE. I had a very simple paperwork issue that they refused to work with me on even though at a different UCHealth facility they had no problem working with me on it. They overbook their physical therapists that they are literally booked out for over a month, and not even being a new patient, this is after seeing a therapist for about a month already. I would feel better if they gave me the warning of "hey we are very busy and overbooked right now so please schedule appointments multiple months in advance". I was even on the wait-list for last minute cancels/etc. for 2 weeks and never once got a call about an opening. Overall better to just do physical therapy elsewhere then here. Final note, they won't even call you directly to talk about these reviews even if your full name is posted. Which another medical facility actually did call me directly after a review so I know it can be done. Very lazy customer service unfortunately."
