"Inexperienced. False advertising. They use the appropriate wording to suggest a progressive approach and understanding of Autism, but this is nothing more than a disclaimer to cover their bums and won’t be integrated appropriately into the actual diagnostic process. If you are high-masking or present in any way outside of the highly stereotyped, outdated model please save your money and your spoons for an experienced clinician. I was actively discouraged from even having my daughter evaluated…yet I followed my gut anyways and sought care elsewhere and thank goodness I did because this team was waaayyyyy off base."
"I came to CTAC to get an assessment and was frustrated about the lack of communication on their end. They were not forthcoming about how long the process would take and I had to reach out several times for a status update. I was on a waitlist for 2ish months (which is to be expected) but then waited six weeks after completing testing without hearing from them. I reached back out and the psychologist doing the evaluation told me that they needed some more information. Then, when going to what I thought would be a final follow-up session to get the last bits of information to finalize the report, the psychologist gave me the results, and told me she wished she had more time to work on them but that she was leaving the company in the next couple of days so had to wrap things up quickly. They accepted my insurance, but the testing still cost me around $1300. For that much money, I expected a more straightforward and accommodating process and more solidified results that I could feel confident in. The billing was also confusing. I received some charges on the same day as my appointments and then other random charges between appointments. When I went back to my account to read the billing agreement that I had signed, it was not accessible for me to view, even though I could view other documents I signed at the same time. Similarly, after receiving my results and my final appointment, when I went back to sign into their patient portal I no longer had an account with them. This means I don't have access to documents I signed and I cannot access their feedback form."
"Every single person in this industry deserves to be in prison for the rest of their life. You people help no one, you take advantage of the unfortunate. You wasted my time and gave me fake solutions. If I could sue you people until you were all homeless I would. Then it would be you who comes calling for help, then you’d receive your very own brand of fake care and see how useless you people are. You need a taste of your own medicine. Snake oil frauds is what you are."
"Trying to charge patients a discharge fee when they let you know you know that they are not returning to your practice is bull. I would not recommend a therapist with such shady business practices. If you call and cancel with more than 24 hours, why should you be charged anything? No one saw a doctor but you want to charge people?? For what??"
"Working with Hannah was one of the best experiences I've had in the medical field in quite awhile. I always felt respected, cared for, well informed, and never rushed. Their office is quiet, clean, and also easy to get to. They also allow you to schedule through email, which for people who struggle with phone calls is a boon. I have nothing but positive things to say about Hannah and the entire Colorado Therapy and Assessment Center team."
