"The therapy and counciling I've received from LifeStance is high quality, but I haven't been able to get ahold of their billing department to discuss insurance claim issues without being on hold for 2+ hours minimum, the hold music is awful and repetitive, and constantly interjects telling me my time is "valuable" and they'll be with me "shortly". My time certainly doesn't feel valuable when I have to spend 2 hours paying half attention to a maddening phone call that hangs up on me when I don't reply for 10 seconds when they finally pick up because I was distracted for just a moment. They have some option to "have them call me back" but the times I've selected that option I've never been contacted. This review would be 1 star but I give them 2 only because of the high quality of their therapists."

"The Good : Savannah Rackley is one the greatest therapists I've ever had, maybe the best, and was able to help me with a variety of issues. She was patient, kind, and professional - always finding it easy to be relatable. She's one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met and truly a master of her craft. Her memory (or maybe her note-taking) is infallible, she's able to recall things from sessions months prior in order to help her client work through their own thought patterns. She didn't shy away from admitting that certain issues might be better addressed by another form of therapy - which I greatly appreciated. Definitely recommend her to anyone seeking individual or couples therapy! The Bad: My psychiatrist Haley Price stopped accepting me as a client without notification. I showed up to our next appointment (it wasn't cancelled in their system) and waited for 20 minutes before finally realizing she wasn't showing. This caused me great issue as I had to quit taking my prescribed medications cold turkey and was about to move out of state without insurance. I still haven't been able to get back on my meds several months after. Additionally, when I asked about why I was cancelled as a client - I was told it was because I had missed two appointments ( amusing reasoning considering she refused to treat my ADHD) and because she thought a male provider could be better for me . However I never had any kind of conversation with Ms.Price outside of medication management that could have led her to that conclusion. This may have been a note-taking misunderstanding , she may have been referring to my therapist. Regardless the decision to stop seeing me and it's execution were damaging, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. Additionally, I had an appointment with a psychologist for a CPTSD evaluation. I woke up early which is difficult for me due to medical reasons including insomnia and sleep apnea, drove an hour for the appointment, and dealt with user-login machines that weren't functioning- just to be told that the evaluation couldn't be completed for reasons that the psychologist should have been already aware of in reviewing my notes. She still charged me for the evaluation. Lastly, they have no receptionist in their office . Not the biggest deal in the world - but certainly can and has caused issues."

"Though I was late they took me right in, no waiting. They were professional, curtious and cheerful at the desk. Sarah listened to everything I explained about my current situation and some of the past to assess my needs. We talked about different types of meds and how they might work, and scheduled a follow up in a few weeks. I’m hopeful for good results."

Both providers I met with were patient, I felt like they heard me and wanted to collaborate with me on my treatment, not just dictating to me."
