"The CFC does not take an integrated approach to your care in any way - even if you ask for help coming up with some sort of treatment plan, they will not help you with that. Do not trust any of the information on their website, welcome packet, or anything they'll tell you if you call with questions. I went to the CFC from December 2021 through February 2022. No one ever took the time to go over my symptoms, treatment history, or goals with me. When I asked about it, I was told that everything should be in the intake paperwork, and they'd let me know if they needed more information - so they basically denied me to opportunity to talk things through with them. And while some of the providers are nice, caring, and intelligent, they don't know how to work together as a team and help you get the care you need. The only treatment options they gave me were chiropractic and massage - they did not even talk with me about anything else. When the care I was receiving there wasn't helping, they just referred me out PT, without offering any other way they could help me at CFC even though I asked. I talked at length with their practice coordinator, who was upset by how I was treated and who followed up with the providers and owner. The coordinator even talked to some other patients and found out they had the same awful experience I did. On March 1, 2022, I was told they'd be having a staff meeting to figure out how to resolve things. I sent an email on March 5 saying I was still looking for a next step, but it's two months later and I have not received a response or any type of contact from them."
"Everything has been great concerning my care here, I feel heard and valued for the first time since becoming ill in 2008, and feel like nothing has been brushed aside or dismissed concerning anything. Everyone always greats me with a smile and heartfelt hello. I was at my lowest point in my life prior to giving the Fibromyalgia clinic a chance, just waiting to not wake up anymore so I didn't have to keep fighting the losing battle. They have given me my life back and were the first medical professionals who have given me any hope. And they all work together for each individual to give them the best care while also staying on top of the latest Fibromyalgia treatments and research. I met with Teresa in January for the intake and consultation. She was very understanding and compassionate to my needs and was the first step in working towards my best self. After the determination that I was eligible for the Fibromyalgia care I met with Dawn Moon. She not only handles my main Fibro care but also my primary care and that of my daughter. She's always listened since day one, is currently teaching a NP student that I see becoming a great boon to the healthcare system, and always checks in with how me and my daughter are doing anytime she sees me, whether I'm there to see her or not. I had some physical therapy with Dr. Dean Wright and Sierra for the Foundation phase and first step in the Recovery phase of their Fibromyalgia treatment program. They gave me the first physical steps and treatment in my care. I am currently seeing Dr. Megan Moon and Stephanie for my ongoing Recovery phase. They have been phenomenal on getting me onto the right track with my pain management and physical health, focusing on more intense physical therapy and nutritional changes. They are also helping my daughter with some physical therapy and are always fantastic with her. Since Kim has joined the team for therapy, I've started seeing her for mental health. She's been great and I couldn't ask for a better therapist. She is very compassionate and understanding but also won't let you continue with destructive or toxic behaviors and coping mechanisms. She is definitely one of a kind. I also have to state that most of the time, Carrie works the front desk and handles most of the scheduling. She's always going above and beyond to make sure everything is handled efficiently and in a friendly manner. But so does anyone else who I've had help to schedule, reschedule, cancel appointments, answer any questions I have, and get messages to my care team. I don't remember all of their names, but I haven't had any reason to complain nor be unhappy with my care or any interactions I've had. I truly wish more medical personnel and professionals were like the team here at the Fibromyalgia clinic and South Pointe Healthcare, because there would be more happiness and friendliness going around. I will never be able to thank all of them enough."
"I have been going to Colorado Fibromyalgia Center since Oct. 2020. Dealing with other health issues, the pain got so amplified. Seeing Dr. Dawn Moon, Dr. Wright and Dr. Megan Moon has been a God sent. They have helped me so much, not just physically, but emotionally as well. I have to drive about 4 hours one way to see them every other week, and it is so worth it. They are very caring and compassionate doctors. People who come here thinking that they will cure you or make you pain free do not understand the nightmare that is Fibromyalgia. The doctors focus on pain management and ways to lessen "flare ups". They help you in more in depth ways then just having you take medicine. They treat you like a person and not just another patient. Fibromyalgia has no cure. It is a life long curse. And they know that, so they build a repour with people. They know who I am and ask about people and events in my life. Getting the right medicine and all the massage, holistic, and chiropractic therapy has helped a lot. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could."
"I have been receiving treatment at the Colorado Fibromyalgia Center for over 3 years now, and I am incredibly grateful for the high level of care, compassion, expertise, and integrity that I have experienced during that time. Men are a small percentage of those impacted with this disease, so I had not even considered that I could have it. After doing some research, I stumbled upon this team online and decided to give them a call. I was in complete despair when I first arrived, and they changed my life for the positive by sending me on a completely different path than I would have ended up following. I call them "my team", and they cover a wide range of treatments, which is perfect for this condition. From massage therapy, aroma therapy, chiropractic care, cupping, and electric stimulation, coupled with expertise about medication management, exercise strategies, and coaching about diet and lifestyle changes, I get the absolute best care that I could receive for this dreadful disease. They work closely with me, and really take the time to listen. I never feel rushed during my visits, and I always leave with a good plan in place. I rarely post online, but I needed to take some time to acknowledge the amazing work that these folks do on a daily basis. All they want to do is help, and that is a rarity in the world today. Thank you to "my team" for changing my life and sending it down such a positive path!!!"
"i have been going to the Fibromyalgia center since July of 2017. i was totally frustrated being bounced around from Dr to Dr. i was in alot of pain from these bumps down my right leg. finally i googled bumps in leg and brought me to the fibromyalgia center, after reading about fibromyalgia symptoms I could relate to most of them. So I made an appt. my first meeting was with Ashley Collins nurse practitioner she was so nice and comforting. she was very professional. she tested me and what do you know I had fibromyalgia. She explained how everything worked. I met with Dr. Moon she went over the dietary plan and vitamins and minerals to take.. i went to the store and got the recommended vitamins they really made me feel a little better. when the blood tests came back I was put on Lyrica and was told my thyroid was low and she increased the dosage and retested me in 4 weeks my PCP did not even catch it. I even recieved massages which were the best I ever had. They also figure out that the pain in my back was do to lumbar disc issues and referred me to Dr. Tracy who has been great. like i mention before they are truly thorough.i have and will continue to recommend them to others. They are changing my life one vist at a time!"
