"I seriously can’t recommend Ann enough for so many reasons. I’m pretty young at 28 and very active, but I have hyper-mobility and after an injury to my foot and ankle I was unable to walk for over 2 months. I saw so many Doctors and specialists that were unhelpful, even after an MRI I was basically just told to stay off it with very little insight on how or when to begin recovery. I’ve never been to physical therapy before, and by the time I came to Ann I was getting pretty desperate. She was quick to get me in for my first appointment, listened so well, and asked really insightful questions. My first meeting with her was more helpful than my previous 3 doctors visits all to different ones including a podiatrist. She made me feel very heard and believed which can be a rarity for women when seeking medical attention. She took plenty of time to answer all my questions and was very knowledgeable with lots of options to help, even with issues like poor circulation. I love that it’s a one on one environment, I never feel rushed, embarrassed or judged (it’s just us!), and I’ve never had to wait to see her. There’s plenty of equipment at the center, but I love that pretty much all of my exercises are things I can do with very minimal to no equipment at home, just a theraband which she provided and sometimes simple household items and minimal space. I have a busy schedule between work, family/kids and hobbies, but she really helped me form a regimen that felt manageable but still challenging enough to make fast progress. Within a week of our first visit I was walking again without an assistive device, and within 2-3 weeks I was able to go on a family vacation to Costa Rica and participate in some hiking and even river rafting. It’s been less than 2 months and I’m even back to skiing now before the end of the season! I happened to get a concussion and whiplash a couple weeks ago during an unrelated accident, and after talking to Ann that was something she’s been able to help with too. My headaches and migraines have decreased a lot, and my neck pain has also been greatly reduced. Physical therapy isn’t magic, but when you’re experiencing pain and feeling helpless it’s really encouraging to have things you can do to help improve the condition, even if it’s not an instant fix. I don’t typically leave reviews for places, but if I could I’d give her 10 stars and tell everyone how awesome PT is. Seriously one of my best experiences ever; not only have my conditions greatly improved, but I’ve been able to excel past where I was pre-injury to increase stability and help prevent future injuries, and reduce chronic pain I’ve had for years. It’s given me so much confidence and helped more than many things I’ve tried in the past, including working out, yoga, medications, etc. by really targeting certain areas I didn’t realize were causing issues elsewhere in my body. I seriously wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ann or her practice to anyone! Even if you think PT isn’t for you or something you need, it’s really helped with things I didn’t even realize could be improved by PT. She’s been great about working with my insurance, and I genuinely look forward to going at this point. I can’t thank you enough Ann, you’re the best!"
"I highly recommend Ann for your PT needs. I went in with knee pain, unsure of the cause, and Ann was able to determine the root of the issue and work with me to correct it. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. My knee pain is gone and I now have tools to use for the future! Bonus: my lower back pain also improved."
"Ann is amazing and has treated multiple people in our family. I love that she asks questions about how we’re progressing, adds new exercises and also bills insurance. She has been honest about when she thinks we’re good to progress on our own and only follow up if something else escalates. I would recommend her to anyone I know."
"Ann is great! She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She took the time to listen to my concerns and carefully assess my condition and developed a personalized treatment plan that was tailored to my specific needs. I came in with a sports injury and the treatments themselves were challenging but effective. Ann constantly monitored my progress and adjusted the plan as needed. I never felt like I was just another patient; Ann truly cared about my well-being. I highly recommend the Physical Therapy Center of Erie and Ann!"
"I’m not kidding, within 15 minutes I had more valuable insight into what would support me from a lifetimes worth of ways I’ve held my body than any other PT I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen many! Not only that, but Ann’s place is so open, bright, and yet comforting. Ann herself is brilliant while down to earth and insanely helpful. Long story short… You’ll get a lot of insight in no time and walk away with a greater understating of what your body needs and how to tend to it."
