"It wasn’t clear from the beginning that an hour long session was $350, even run through insurance it’s $170 per session. They billed all at once and now I have a $600 bill. I was lead to believe I set up a payment plan through the portal, and confirmed through the phone, and was still charged more than the agreed amount. I’ve never paid this much for mediocre therapy in 16 years of going. It’s hard to get someone over the phone, and their portal is not user friendly."

"I was a happy customer with Lifestance for 2 years however, am not anymore and will not be using them again. I had a change in my insurance plan this year, found out they are billing 315$ for a 1 hour session and 165$ for approximately 38-52 minutes. One minute over 52 minutes it doubles in price. I called to ask for any help as I’ve been a good costumer for 2 years and very quickly customer service refused. Now I’m stuck paying likely close to 500$ for 2 sessions. No one was willing to work with me at all. I have a great Therapist I love, but DONT recommend this company."
