"PJ has been managing our investments for 2 1/2 years. He brings the resources of Edward Jones plus his own wisdom in adapting our investments to our specific situation and needs. I call him every month or two whenever I have a sense that the portfolio needs adjusting or when I have a question about a possible investment. "I met with PJ Musilli of Edward Jones recently to discuss retirement planning. PJ was responsive (called me back right away), personable (asked me about what I like to do and then shared some of his personal life with me too), a good listener (asked me what my goals were, took notes), and thoughtful in terms of what was going to be best for me going forward after he heard my story (wasn't pushy or self-serving). He spent two hours of his time with me - at no charge - to go over my finances and give me some preliminary counseling. Using two computer screens and turning one towards me so that I could participate in the process was super helpful. PJ assessed my financial status in terms of being able to retire at certain points in time. He also described the different ways we could work together if I hired him: I could make the investment choices, we could work together to make the choices, or he could make all the investment decisions for me. I thought that was a good initial indicator that PJ strives to be transparent and manage his business relationships with integrity. At the end of my appointment with PJ, we both realized it wasn't the right time to establish a business relationship. However, I left his office with some very definite ideas about how to move forward with planning and savings. I have PJ's business card and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Great guy.
