New West Physicians Specialty Center

"The specialist I had been seeing left. They new one took me off prescribed Benzo with no tapering or advice on how to handle withdrawals. This is the worst thing I have ever dealt with and may have to go to the hospital. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. Edit: 7/11/23 Finally had enough After being a patient with this company for 6 years I am having to leave as their billing is so incompetent and has caused so many issues I just refuse to deal with them any more. They pay another company to do their billing. That company has mischarged me off and on for around 7 years now. Recently they submitted me not once but twice to collections for different amounts than had ever been billed for nor had I received any notice that this would be happening. Unfortunately I would suggest staying away from this group because of their billing. Its a shame as I have really enjoyed working with both Dr Salzburg and Dr Horiuchi."

"Dr. Lackey and her staff are great and truly care about your mental health. Former retired doctor Oseroff was an amazing doctor as well. I have been seen at this practice for about 5 years, they are the best."

"I wish I wasn’t writing this. I’ve had good experiences with the New West family clinic. I got referred to a specialist/podiatrist. Much later, I got a New West statement, and I was charged a $230 new patient office visit. I didn’t connect the two and couldn’t understand why I’d be charged a new patient visit when I’ve been a patient for years. I called my insurance and the billing department in Nov 2022, Dec 2022, and Jan 2023 to submit tickets, follow-up, etc. New West never followed up with me to give me more info. I finally realized to ask who created that code — answer, the deductor’s office. I asked to be transferred, I got transferred to the specialist office and I finally put it together. This one star review is for charging new patient fees when referring patients within your organization. The one star is for never following up with me. The one star is for not explaining what the fee is and why, and who charged it. This took me three months to figure out."

"So I have been shined by my doctor. I showed up for my appointment and was told they would have to reshedule as she was in a meeting. As a business owner I have to go to great lengths to make personal appontments. She clearly dosent care. So I guess its time to find a new provider. Are we ever going to get back to the way it was? How did we go back in time so far? It seems like Im stuck in some parallel universe. Where Im the only one who knows how we are suposed to treat and care for each other. They have a cancellation fee if we miss our appointments. Which I to have for my company. The differance is I pay my clients the fee if I infact miss a appointment with them. I guess it comes down to I care about my clients and they dont. On a positive note the office staff is always great at this location. They deserve 5 stars along with most of my other doctors."

"This was my first visit to this office. I was warmly greeted by the receiving staff, even though I was twenty minutes late. having gotten lost getting to the office complex. I was immediately taken into an examining room, had my vitals taken and very quickly the attending physician came in. Obvious symptoms, possible diagnosis, appropriate possible solutions were discussed. A follow up appointment was set. and I was on my way. The visit was efficient, caring and thorough. I look forward to the continuing relationship."
