"Very unprofessional. Held me on an M1 hold which means they hold you 3 days involuntarily but they could never get me a print out of it. They told me that I had to call the doctor to get my knife out of their safe even after being stable for weeks after. Would not recommend. Avoid at all costs"
"I went into this hospital summer of 23’’, they took me in late at night around 1:30 i would say and gave me papers to sign, at the time i was a minor and did not have my parents there to help me understand what i was signing and they didn’t explain anything to me when i would ask questions. i did not understand any of the rights and conditions and that caused me to stay longer than i was supposed to. they were not giving me medications at the right time, the staff was okay not all of them were helpful but some were. We were forced to stay inside because they had not fixed the door to go outside, there was glass outside the door. they also did not watch over patients like they should have i’m not going to go into detail about what had happened but there were several times codes were being ran because of patients. i saw the doctor once in my entire stay and that was not enough, i had issues with my medications that could not be fixed because i couldn’t see the doctor. they failed to mention that i wouldn’t have had visitation with my family even tho i did not do anything to prevent them from being able to stay. they never provided me with necessities like underwear, tampons, and pads, as a woman those are necessary. honestly if you are planning to go here or send your child here i would not, they are very disrespectful and they force you to do things you don’t feel comfortable or okay with doing. there are other places that are so much better than here!"
"I really can’t say enough amazing things about their PHP. From Rhonda in admissions and Dr. Lisa and Joe, everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate. The program itself is thoughtfully put together. It was pivotal in helping me heal recent trauma. I am forever grateful for their help."
"I spent 10 days here in 2020 for clinical depression accompanied by suicidal thoughts. I can state objectively that you should completely avoid this hospital for any in-patient mental health care. In my ward, the floors were filthy and never mopped, the food was awful, and the nursing staff showed very little empathy for you as an individual. The staff psychiatrist was basically a pull pusher, and the social workers aka counselors weren't very friendly. At night they tried to force you to keep the room door open, not caring about the bright lights just outside or their loud conversation. Avoid this place!"
"I am a grateful graduate of Jeanne’s group. She always said that the group is the participants, but without her teaching/awareness (lots of those!) guidance all of us thru challenges, lead by example, years experience and utmost compassion and care; I would not be where I am today. When I learned if these group sessions, I was very pessimistic about it but want to rid alcohol and substance abuse FOREVER, and was going to give myself only two sessions. Then found myself craving to go every week. It was very mentally exhausted, but I wouldn’t change it. The things I learned from my fellow group members and myself, and the strength that it gave me, surpassed anything I could ever do on my own. Thank you, Centennial Peaks And my favorite counselor, Jeanne :)"
