Externally I found the technique to be somewhat similar to a simplified form of Reiki, but with the addition of intuitive work to focus on areas in need of particular healing. "What an amazing experience! I'd heard stories of people making real breakthroughs and having incredible releases of emotion during their sessions. However, none of this happened for me. I simply felt relaxed and Paulo pointed out a few areas on my body where he'd felt some stronger energy. So, I have to admit, I was slightly disappointed. But about 12 hours later, I was awakened in the middle of the night by some powerful and intense physical disturbances... in an exact area he had mentioned.
