"UPDATE, September 2021: My child has "graduated" from therapy now, & I would have absolutely no qualms about recommending Lauren Ferguson & Conifer Play Therapy to anyone. Even during the pandemic, Lauren was able to make & keep appointments with my child & help them to remember the tools she taught them to navigate life in this "new" world. It was such a relief to be able to have Lauren's talents during this time. Not once during the 2.5 years that we were clients did Lauren ever have the need to talk to me about insurance. It was if it was magically handled. I'm sure there are instances where this might not be the case, but not once did I have to worry about it. Overall, our time spent in play therapy was beneficial to our family. It is because of the skills & tools Lauren gave not only my child, but to me as well. She really does treat the whole family. She quite honesty changed our lives. _________________________________ 12/2019 -- It's a hard thing to decide to decide to have your child see a therapist, yet Lauren Ferguson at Conifer Play Therapy has made it seem like the most natural thing in the world. My child has been seen by Lauren about six months now. From the very beginning, Ms. Ferguson has been very friendly, open, & honest about what we need to do, as a team, to improve my child's mental health. After our initial consultation, Ms. Ferguson created a treatment plan for my child. She discussed this plan with me in detail: she defined areas of concern, suggestions on how to best address those concerns, & benchmarks for determining when goals were being achieved. Ms. Ferguson has revised this plan in the six months since we've been clients. This, to me, shows she is committed to making sure my child receives the best care available. As a parent, it is comforting to know that Ms. Ferguson is committed to helping my child progress & "graduate" from play therapy. My child loves the time she spends with Ms. Ferguson. I can see a marked improvement in my child's mental health in the short amount of time she's been attending play therapy. My child has been using the tools learned from Ms. Ferguson in ways that not only benefit my child, but our family has well. Before each visit, Ms. Ferguson discreetly inquires if there are any concerns that need to be addressed. After the visit, she shares the basics of what happened in the session, always mindful to keep my child's confidence. In addition to meeting with my child, Ms. Ferguson also meets with me bi-weekly. During these sessions, we discuss how my child is progressing, any items of concern from the last visit, & inquires if I have any issues I feel she needs to address with my child. She has given me the tools to become a better parent. More importantly, I feel Ms. Ferguson strives to make real connections with her clients. While she is always professional, I feel as if I'm spending time talking with a friend about the needs of my child. She has become a mentor for both my me & my child. One of the considerations of our coming to Conifer Play Therapy was insurance. Ms. Ferguson took our insurance, & I've not had to think about it at all since then. I cannot say what specific insurance carriers she accepts, but not having to worry about submitting information to our insurance carrier has been a godsend. Scheduling has been wonderfully simplified, as existing clients are able to make appointments online. In addition to this, I receive text reminders of when our next appointment will be. If you have made the decision that therapy is the right choice for your family, I would strongly recommend Lauren Ferguson at Conifer Play Therapy."

I cannot under any circumstances recommend you bring a child to a therapist that won't share how the child is doing. Furthermore, nearly NONE of the outlines of services on web page have actually happened. NO UPDATES, NO HOME ASSIGNMENTS, NOTHING."
