"Rooms: Whole house, main floor, six days. Clean and comfortable. Everything provided by the owner, did not have to contact once during stay. However, every time we saw her, she made sure we were not needing anything. Service: One email, one call. We were reserved the main floor. Great service! Location: Walked to town every night for dinner. walked to the TRNP entrance gift shop."
"My wife and I wanted to pitch our tent somewhere but in a rare quirk it was over 100 F, so instead we looked for a room. We stopped in most every hotel in Medora but it was all out of our price range. Eventually I noticed on my GPS "Custer's Cottage" We called and ended up staying there. It was very reasonably priced, clean, and just what we were hoping to find. The rest of the town seemed to be horribly overpriced, but not Mary! She made us feel very welcome. I don't get up that way often but when I do I'm gonna go see Mary. Oh, bring cash or check, no plastic accepted, just a heads up. I actually like that too. She keeps her overhead down that way. She's frugal, just like me! I've have attached photos of the basement apartment that we rented."
"Fun and unique place to stay if you're looking for a memorable overnight! Cute, no frills wagon with enough space for two people. Has a communal bathroom and shower. Mary is a very welcoming host. We had a great night!"
"What a fun place to stay! Perfect for two people. Wagon is small but comfortable. We were there two nights and it worked out great. There’s a bathroom and a shower in a separate building, along with a coffee maker and a refrigerator if needed. Owner was super pleasant and easy to work with as well as easy to reach via phone."
"Exceeded our expectations by miles! We try to stay in "cabin-style" lodging on big trips (Glacier National Park, Smoky Mountains, etc) and I must say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with lodging. We had an entire house to ourselves....3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, and spacious living room. The owners were very professional and went above and beyond to help plan for our arrival. The house was abundantly stocked....towels, soap, paper products to include coffee, laundry soap, dish soap and other amenities I would have never guessed. I definitely will stay here the next time we are out in Western North Dakota! Very pleased!!!"
