Dance Exploration at the Cantril School is a premier dance institution located at 312 Cantril Street in Castle Rock, Colorado. As part of the Castle Rock Parks and Rec Arts & Enrichment Department, Dance Exploration offers quality and educational dance classes for children in the historic Cantril School in Downtown Castle Rock. Serving families in Castle Rock, Parker, Elizabeth, Franktown, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and Littleton, Dance Exploration provides recreational, non-competitive dance classes for beginning to intermediate level dancers.
Unlike other Castle Rock dance studios, Dance Exploration is the only studio to offer a Whole-Child Dance Curriculum - the Dance to Learn® Curriculum. This curriculum is designed to help dancers dance, learn, and grow through child-centered and developmentally appropriate dance lessons, starting from ages 18 months to 12 years old.
Enroll in any of the Winter/Spring 2024 Castle Rock Dance Classes offered through Dance Exploration by visiting the Castle Rock Parks and Rec Arts & Enrichment Online Registration Portal. If you have trouble registering, you can call 720.733.2298 for assistance.
In addition to regular classes, Dance Exploration also celebrates events like Read Across America Week, combining reading and dancing for a fun learning experience. They also offer Castle Rock Hip Hop classes for kids, highlighting the 10 benefits of Hip Hop dance.
The mission of Dance Exploration is to instill the love of dance in all dancers who join their Castle Rock Dance Family. Through the Dance to Learn® Curriculum, they aim to provide a solid foundation of dance education while ensuring that dancers dance, learn, and grow at each stage of their training.
