Reviews
"Amazing service and equally amazing cuts. I've taken my two pups all over Boulder and Denver and Hydrant is hands down the best."
"Very happy with their work. Our dog had their best haircut here. Very reasonable prices too."
"Loved their grooming service. Took my dog Teddy Bear there for the first time this month and they were great."
"Had a great experience with Hydrant! I had a foster Pom who came from the shelter all matted up and pretty anxious. They quoted me $60 for dematting and washing, and I warned them that she might fear bite and they should restrain her if they needed to -- she did not like the brushing I had tried at home! But they reported that she was very obliging so they must have been super gentle. And they charged me $10 less than they had quoted because the mats weren't as bad as they had sounded when I described them. Which I appreciated! Cass came back looking AMAZING and got adopted a couple weeks later! Note that because of another review I read, I had expected Cass to be able to hang out on the shop floor when she wasn't being groomed, and instead she was crated. The shop looked too small for dogs to be running around, but I suppose really chill dogs might be able to hang out, or maybe they have moved spaces? Cass is not exceptionally chill, so I'm not surprised she was crated -- they probably would have most places -- but don't except it to be "just like doggy daycare" for every dog (I didn't ask about when they do/don't do that because it wasn't at all a big deal, but if that's what you're looking for I recommend asking about it)."
"Pretty disappointed that after bringing both of my dogs here for several years, one of my dogs had dried up blood in both of his ears after his last grooming. It looked like hair had either been pulled from in his ears or cut when trimming his fur. Either way, found another groomer, further out of the way, but with rave reviews. Thought for a bath & nail trim I would give the Hydrant another try. Was met with attitude and rudeness when I called to book just a bath and confirm my pup's ears would not be touched. Service here has been inconsistent at best & not worth giving another shot."
