General Research Laboratory

The General Research Laboratory is located at 1310 Maple Street in Golden, Colorado, United States. This institution is a university that offers a variety of research opportunities for students and faculty. Visitors are welcome to schedule an in-person or virtual visit to experience all that the Colorado School of Mines has to offer. Located just 15 miles west of downtown Denver, Mines is situated in the city of Golden, a vibrant community in the foothills of the Rockies. The campus is home to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Coors Brewing Company, offering unique research and collaboration opportunities. Advanced registration is required for most campus visit opportunities, but self-guided tour materials are available at the Starzer Welcome Center. The Office of Admissions is available to answer any questions about visiting the campus. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time, with some exceptions for major holidays and events.
