"We just finished our 4 lesson basic obedience training with Cierra Cavanaugh in Colorado Springs and we are so impressed in the difference in our dog Moose! He is under a year old and listening so well, we have learned sit and extended sit, place, recall, heel, and a few more! She was so open to answering any questions and we loved our time with her! We will definitely be doing advanced lessons with Moose and even basic obedience with our puppy once he is old enough with the help of Cierra! I cannot recommend her enough!"

"Off Leash K9 is awesome. I enrolled my two German Shepherds (3 year old male and 7 year old female) into their basic training and they have grown immensely in their skills. Our trainer James has been amazing. He treats the dogs well and is always very kind and caring towards them. He was very accommodating with scheduling and was professional when needing to reschedule due to a snow storm. I was nervous about using an "e-collar" but James explained it was a TENs unit and made me feel what the dogs would be experiencing during our first meeting. It isn't anything painful and the dogs don't seem to mind it. They get excited putting on their collars because they know they get to go train and get cookies and praise. I highly recommend the program and will be continuing past the basic course with more training."

"We worked with Off Leash K9 for our Cane Corso, Harley Quinn, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. To be fair, Harley didn’t need the training- I did. I did ALL of the research before adopting a cane corso, but no research could prepare me for Harley. And to make matters worse, the neighborhood Karen reported us for ownership of a dangerous dog simply because Harley barked at her. Several months later, we are still fighting in court. Because we were unable to control Harleys “fear” and energy, her vet prescribed her trazodone. But something about feeding a puppy medication like that just didn’t set right with me. But Harley’s trainer, Gustavo, not only “trained” Harley, he gave me back my confidence and reassured me that Harley was in fact not dangerous. She just had incompetent owners. I dropped off a bored, scared, high energy, stubborn puppy and picked up a well behaved, confident, and intelligent puppy. Gustavo worked with Harley first during basic obedience. She did so well, we honestly thought we were good to go. But unfortunately I as her owner failed her and didn’t keep up with the training enough to make it really stick. She is my baby, so when she acted like she didn’t want to train, I didn’t enforce it. If I told her to sit and she laid down instead, I didn’t bother with it. These were all of my own errors. After about 2 months of failing on my own, and of course a court case, I enrolled Harley in their board and train program. Because Harley already knew the commands, Gustavo was able to push her immediately. He sent me updates on how she was doing, sent pictures and videos, excellent communication. He took her everywhere! Scheels, Home Depot, Downtown, the park! I could tell she worked hard because when she came home she slept HARD! When we picked Harley up, Gustavo worked with my husband and I to ensure that when we take her home we know what we are doing. I let her rest for the first day home, but after that we picked right back up. So far we have been all over the place. Harley is completely unbothered by other dogs and people. She understands, she wants to work. We have even started socializing more and letting her meet new people. Harley will probably never “love” other people, but I at least know that I can take her out in public safely. Today we were able to have a conversation with our other neighbor (whom Harley used to loathe entirely) as she laid in between us outside. The neighbors dog (who is a menace himself) was about 20 feet away, barking at Harley and being obnoxious- Harley again, was COMPLETELY UNBOTHERED! It was amazing. This is exactly what we needed. Harley will now be able to live the life she deserves, and we as her owners now understand the importance of proper dog training with someone who knows what they are doing. We will always recommend Off Leash K9."

"I COULD NOT be more thrilled with the training that Gustavo and his team provided to my overly sweet, high anxiety pit bull, hound mix. Every single walk was a contest to see who could pull harder and discouraged me from taking him anywhere. I had been researching Off Leash for about a year and a half before I made the commitment for the two week board and train. Boy am I glad I did! My relationship with my dog, Buck has increased ten-fold! I cannot wait to get home from work and go practice our training together with play-time as a reward. I was also extremely surprised how much time and energy they spent with him doing different sessions. He took multiple trips to Lowe’s, visited open areas, dog parks, and even went to Gustavo’s home! Trust me when I say that there is nothing better than receiving a video of your dog sitting, waggin his tail while three trainers vacuum, bang bowls together, jam to some rock & roll all while training another dog at the same time. Talk about creating distractions and encouraging good behavior! I could write a novel about their services but I’ll leave you with just one more note – the training is superb and the dogs are willing and able to do it, it’s us as owners that need to commit and practice!
