"Our dog, Friday, really likes this place! Decent rates, flexible pick up and drop off, and really wonderful staff. They’re super sweet to Friday which both he and I appreciate :)"

"Didn’t have a good “feeling” when I dropped them off. Was told I couldn’t leave their blanket and that I couldn’t see where they would be keeping them. Anyone taking there loved pets wants to see where they are kept. No it doesn’t cause the other animals there stress what it can do is relieve the stress of the ones dropping off. This gave me a bad feeling inside right off the bat but we were leaving for our trip the next morning. Was told they only feed them once a day at 11:00. I paid extra to feed them twice as what is what is normally done for dogs. Since they have been home they have been vomiting and have it loose stools. I have taken my dogs for years to another boarder who just recently closed and never had any issues with them being ill when I picked them up. It is not normal for your animal to experience vomiting and diarrhea, unless they picked up some illness. Makes me think the kennels we’re not keep clean. The biggest question from the kennel was “what time are you going to pick them up so we can give them a bath” My dogs were only there for 7days, there should have been no reason why they needed a bath unless they were in unclean conditions."

"Boarding our dog for the first time was rough enough but to pick up our dog with feces in his coat was too much. Our pup smells absolutely horrible, has a large amount of feces on the side of his coat indicating he was possibly laying in it. There’s too much kennel competition in Colorado Springs for this to be remotely acceptable thus we’ll obviously not return. I understand why our dog was pulling so hard to get out of the facility. Edit: to the facility responding saying our dog wasn’t picked up at 7:30am is a blatant lie. I was waiting at the gates at 7:30am when they were still locked shut when they should have been opened. Myself and another person were waiting to be let in. By 7:45am, we were out of there! Hard pass on the free bath, I’d never let my dog be under your care."

"DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!!!!!!! They do no care about your pets, we left in vacation for a week and they did not let us bring more than a toy with him. After a few days he wasn’t doing great and they didn’t seem to care they called us 10 min before they closed and they didn’t open until 4 pm the next day. We finally had to get our friend to pick our dog up and they were SUPER rude to her and when she picked him up he had to use the bathroom a lot. It seemed like they didn’t bother taking him out. Worst place ever DO NOT take you animals here I hope this place gets shut down and goes out of business and I mean that with all my heart. If you care about your pets PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!"

"We have a very anxious, high-energy, high needs pup and are currently easing him into being kenneled after only being kenneled once before for boarded training at Sunrise/Under The Sun (also recommend). We had a great experience first go around at Woodmen. They were very attentive and even gave him some extra attention when he was anxious that night. They had a lot of talking points at pick up, not just "he did great..." This shows that he was a priority. I truly believe Juneau is in caring hands at Woodmen! We love the whole complex as well and have utilized multiple services at Under The Sun this past year."
