"Overall a very frustrating experience. When I called to schedule a new patient appointment, I was told I could not schedule the appointment without my insurance information so they could verify that my insurance is in network. Totally understandable, so I called back with my insurance info and was told yep, you're in network and went forward with scheduling an appointment (the earliest being about 5 months out). I completed all of the paperwork online prior to my appointment. Upon arrival to my appointment, I was told that the online system was having issues and I would need to fill out all of the paperwork again. Totally understandable that electronic systems have issues, no problem. I re-did all of the paperwork, and when I went to the front desk to hand in my re-completed paperwork, I was informed that my insurance is in fact NOT in network, but I could pay out of pocket for the appointment. I was so upset I was in tears. Not only did I take a day off of work unpaid and drive over an hour each way to come to this appointment, I was looking forward to finally finding some help for the debilitating migraines I struggle with. Although I can't speak to the actual care team, this was a very upsetting experience and there was no attempt to take responsibility or make it right."
