"As soon as he entered the room, Dr. Albert was dismissive of my case. He greeted with me with "So, what makes you think you have a vein issue?" I told him I was referred here by a Physical Therapist due to years of leg pain, leg swelling, and multiple other symptoms. He immediately dismissed my symptoms and their severity, and made a sexist remark about my periods and my ability to accurately judge the pain I experience. This doctor was unprofessional on so many levels. I left the office feeling unheard and belittled. Even my husband pointed out how uncalled for and unprofessional Dr. Albert's comments and treatment of me was. Thankfully, I went to some good vein doctors in Denver who diagnosed my condition and were not at all dismissive. I'm so glad I was my own advocate and didn’t let Dr. Albert dissuade me from seeking treatment elsewhere. I would never refer anyone to see Dr. Albert. The drive to Denver is worth it to avoid this guy."

"Update Nov 2022: I'm approaching a year since my treatments at Albert Vein. I still have numbness on the back sides of my legs. I've seen another vein doctor for follow up treatment and have now learned that what I thought was bruising on my calf is not bruising. My new doctor describes it as a permanent burn scar and almost like a tattoo. So now I have this unsightly place on my calf as a permanent result. In addition, I have spider veins that are way worse than they were before any treatment at Albert Vein. Lastly, I'm not only still paying off my $2000+ bill at Albert Vein, I'm also paying my new doctor to treat some of the same areas. I had four endovenous ablation procedures done in Dec. During and after my 4th procedure, things deteriorated pretty rapidly. As I was on the surgical table for the 4th procedure, Dr. Albert walked into the surgery room and without acknowledging me said “ok, let’s get going, what are we doing here, I have a consultation waiting”. I felt pretty stunned by that comment, and it left me thinking I wasn’t even the priority in my own surgery, but that the priority was getting the next patient signed up. Even more concerning, these four procedures left me with numbness, that still exists, down the backsides of both my legs. Upon completing those four surgeries, as requested by the practice, I scheduled the two ultrasound guided injections to close off the lower leg front side veins. Prior to those appointments, I was told those injections were only slightly more involved than sclerotherapy treatment. That was not the case whatsoever, and no cost of those procedures was provided to me in advance. It was not until I was in the office in Feb. for the first of those appointments that I was told they would each be thousands of dollars more. I now believe it is questionable whether or not I even needed those done as those parts of my legs were not bothering me. To make things even worse, those two procedures left me with two deep vein clots. After several weeks of blood thinners, those clots were still there, and I was told they may never go away. In addition, the $400 in sclerotherapy treatments during the endovenous ablation procedures was a complete waste. It was only after having all four of those treatments done, that I was told those veins dive down and are hard to treat at the same time because of the numbing medications and swelling. Furthermore, I identified the spider vein areas I most wanted treated for the four $100 sessions, and I was not told until after the fact that most of those veins were too small for the needle treatment and that they needed the laser treatment. Had I been told that, I would have waited to have any sclerotherapy done. So after over $18,000, I’m left with numbness in my legs, two deep vein clots that may or may not ever go away, and the same bothersome spider vein areas that are no better whatsoever. I would much rather have my legs as they were before having any treatment done by Albert Vein Institute. The one positive part of my experience is that the medical staff were caring and attentive. Other than that, I’m hugely disappointed and distressed that I’ve spent thousands of dollars and this is the result."

"I have had an amazing experience working with everyone at Albert Vein!! Everyone in the office has been great. They got me in quick and explained everything in detail even during the procedures. I never felt like they were rushing to get to the next patient and never had to wait long to be seen which is great with my busy schedule.
