"Josh has been coming to our home for piano instruction for my two children 5 & 8 for over six months now as we are so impressed with the quality of the lessons. We started two two different piano teachers in the area and he is by far a better teacher. My children have very different personalities and learning needs, and manages distractions, uncooperative behaviors in a positive and patient manner. He is always encouraging and focused on music time being a happy experience considering it to be the foundation of a lifelong love of music. I am impressed by what a balanced music education my kids are receiving, they practice rhythms, sight reading, composing original works and work in a variety of music books. He doesn’t stay one one piece too long and keep my children interested and challenged with games and songs during the lessons. He also uses technology with music challenges with his iPad; and gives us access so my kids can practice with our tablet between lessons and he can track their progress. Josh’s gentle personality and kindness, and experience with young children as a father himself make a perfect match for our family.
