"I have been riding at promenade now for over 10 years. I still havent grown out of promenade with Kims constant research, I am always learning something knew. I grew up riding horses and desperately craved a deeper connection with the horses my family owned. Kim accomplishments the impossible for me, she taught me to how to ride horses properly not just sit on the horses back like I did the 5 years before I started riding at promenade. Eventually I found my heart horse in one of her training project horses and was taught liberty and made an unbreakable bond. Kim made my dreams of having an unbreable bond come true giving me the tools to do liberty with my heart horse Romeo who loved to learn and I was able to teach him many fun of tricks such as bowing, rearing and doing groundwork at liberty as well as riding at liberty no neck rope needed. She makes the "Crazy" horses in to calm and save horses. She has know paved the way for me to start competing in dressage, giving me the chance at training a horse into a 30,000 dollar horse instead of having to buy one to be able to compete high level l. Again giving me the tools to make the impossible possible even when there is a money barrier. She offers many opportunity to learn by volunteering making horses as accessible to everyone as possible ."

"I don’t really know where to start because I have so many good things to say. As an adult, deciding to start riding can be kind of tricky - or so I thought. I started taking lessons a little while ago and the knowledge gained I can say with certainty, is incomparable. Kim teaches you the connection it’s possible to create between rider and horse and pays extra detail to noticing how to make both those lessons and the connections make sense for you. She has a very good way of noticing every little detail and doesn’t stop until you get it. She teaches you to respect the horse but also… respect yourself and build yourself up. I will come here as long as Kim will let me and who knew the horse she has me ride would also teach me so many lessons about myself just a few months in. I really recommend everyone taking their kids and themselves here. You won’t regret the valuable lessons you or your child will gain each week. If riding lessons isn’t in your budget right now, I also recommend Kim’s horse lessons from home in a private Facebook group - it’s been really helpful and could give you a real head start for when you do choose to start riding."

"We celebrated our daughter's 7th birthday here at the Promenade Horsemanship Academy. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about horses. The staff were very patient and made sure the kids were safe. Not only the kids had fun riding the horses, they also learned about horses. "Great place to learn how to ride and take care of horses. I have two daughters (9 + 14) that have been going off and on for over 5 years for horse camps and lessons. They continue to request the Promenade because the owners Kim and Jerry are friendly, knowledgeable, and have created an inviting environment for learning. We've tried several other places the are slightly closer to us, but always seem to return to the Promenade Horsemanship Academy for the superior overall experience."
