"Dedicated staff and admin team; mental health and holistic wellness approach like nothing I've seen. The commitment to supporting the students and allowing their voices to be cultivated, heard, amplified is phenomenal. So glad we found a perfect school for our family. No school is perfect, but GALS is pretty great."
"I went to school here in 2015, My 8th grade year. I only attended for one year. I love the idea of a school that empowers women and supports girls with extra needs academically. Its a great concept, a concept not executed by the leadership in this school."
"Terrible school. Teachers will make your kids out to be liars and brats when in reality its them! Rankins is aggressive, threatening, and holds disgusting reactive behavior. On our way out from parent teachers conference this teacher pulled me outside and was yelling at me with his all, for me simply voicing comments and concerns towards other teachers. To be confronted by a teacher that my child does not have a class under, nor do I have any knowledge who they are, just a random person that works at the school? Does he talk to our kids the way he spoke to me? Heaters don't turn on till later in the day and this school is docking kids down for dressing warmer on days that have been below freezing. Consistently lied to our faces about the environment the kids are in. Excuse after excuse from teacher after teacher. This is not a safe school for kids with disability as Ennis has consistently pushed our kid to be physical, and she's disabled and has Doctors notes. Her tone was rude and off-putting, even when I was directly in front of this woman did she intimidate my child. Unacceptable for a "director". We've called several times on week days for reasons of re-scheduling or calling in for a sick kid and they don't answer, left voicemails, no return call. Where's the urgency?"
"I truly love this school. The staff is easy to talk to when I have a concern. And the teachers all believe and motivate my daughter when it comes to academics. And they're all very supportive."
"This is one of the best schools in the Denver area. They empower young women to own their space, know themselves and share their voices. They have better scores than most DPS schools but more importantly the staff truly knows each student and encourages them to be their absolute best."
