"Too bad no star is the lowest review ever! Everyone I call at Auguste Escoffier acts friendly but then I tell them about my gluten allergy and they tell me how I am going to fail! I'm Done with people telling me I can't do something or telling me I will fail at doing it. Don't attend this school if you have a food allergy because all they will do as a school is discriminate against students like me! Total B.S! Noe they want 225 for a laptop I didn't get to use because the pastry and baking chef is discriminatory, and so is the school it's self! If you want become a chef I higky suggest going into the military at least there's no judgement or discrimination whatsoever from everyone there! A school in Colorado has no business being a school if they will discriminate against any student will any allergies especially food allergies."
"Terrible school. Everything was good until I tried to leave the school to pursue something else. I had all my classes paid for. The the enrollment counselor signed me up for another class after I request to leave the school. I never attended a single day and didn't even know I was in the class until I started getting text messages from the instructor. I told the enrollment counselor about it and he pretended like he didn't know I asked to leave. Now the school is trying to claim I owe them a debt. Sending me letters and trying to act like I refuse to respond. But every time I call them, nobody picks up the phone. Now they're sending everything to collections. Worst school for culinary arts"
"I can honestly say the instructors I had during my time here were great. However, I did not come to escoffier to gather reviews on the instructors. I went to escoffier with the intent to get an associates degree in holistic nutrition . That time was cut short after 8 or 9 completed courses due to the financial aid issues that came up. They did not do a great job with explaining the financial situation . Then, mid degree, they spring on you to sign up for more loans, or whatever they didn't clarify in the beginning, they made it a complicated situation mid-term . For an online degree costing over 33 grand, they should at least make this process as simple as possible. FiRSt ... you pay 33 grand but have to purchase all your food , appliances , dishes and any thing out side of the knives they give you. Then, after I withdrew from the program despite me doing very well ... i was not able to see the material from the classes i completed and paid for. That's absolutely ridiculous because i still paid for that part of the degree before I withdrew . If i were on site, would that be the textbook my monies paid for. Shouldn't I have excess to the material I paid for ? There are too many discrepancies and definitely regarding the financial aid part. You should never be concerned about certain things when your primary focus should be academics."
"As I am currently enrolled here I can say this school has been nothing short of amazing. The instructors will do their best to help you out and try to walk you through every step of the way. I just want to say thank you to all the hard working instructors and I look forward to graduating in 2025!"
"After changing my major twice, I decided to enroll in the Pastry Arts online program. I was very curious as to how online culinary school would go, and honesty a little intimidated when I started learning what we would be doing. Amy first professor was AMAZING and so incredibly sweet. She helped me feel comfortable, and my advisor made sure to keep in touch consistently so if for any reason I were to get overwhelmed, he could help. Every 6 weeks you begin a new session with a new instructor and new techniques/methods! It makes it very fun and interesting. My skills have already improved tremendously and I’ve learned SO much! I can officially make a beautiful buttercream drip cake, and it be professional standard! The quizzes and discussion posts are helpful, and they even hold events for online students to attend. Next month I’ll be going to a farm-to-table event in Charleston and I’m so excited to finally meet some of my fellow classmates! This school has been completely eye opening and life-changing as far as encouraging me to live my passion, and teaching me to run a successful business. I’m set to graduate in May and I’ve never felt more proud! Adding some picture of some of the amazing things the school has taught me to make:"
