"We are visiting in Cedaredge and drove to Delta for service this morning. It was “Cowboy” Sunday. They had a calf outside to greet the little ones. The worship music was well done and the pastor preached a great sermon. We were greeted by a few people and the couple next to us welcomed us. From first impressions I would recommend this church. I expect we will go there while we are here for a few weeks."

"THIS CHURCH DOES NOT SUPPORT NON TITHING - NON MEMBERS!!! THEY DO NOT LOVE THY NEIGHBORS AS THYSELF. WE LITERALLY HAD THE DOORS SHUT IN OUR FACE AND IGNORED!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! TACKY AND SELF SERVING!!! PASTOR DIDN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE US AT ALL AND CONTINUOUSLY PASSED HIS EXCUSES TO HIS SECRETARY CINDY!!!!!!! We are new residents of Delta, CO. As an Army wife (Special Forces), we feel completely SHUNNED, DISRESPECTED, LIED TO, AND JUDGED!!!! We came to this church in hopes to find a Pastor and congregation that would stand for our armed forces, our religious freedoms, and honestly just pure humanity to discuss the COVID 19 VACCINE.. obviously they feel as if we are beneath them and not important enough to even help a person or family in need. Our life is on the line... a CAREER soldier fighting for his country. A COMBAT VET THAT HAS BEEN AROUND THE WORLD FIGHTING FOR YOUR RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS AND THE PASTOR WAS NOT EVEN MAN ENOUGH TO DISCUSS THE SUBJECT WITH ANY OF US AT ALL! NEVER SHOWED HIS FACE! NEVER returned a call or email. I can't imagine how this pastor/church would treat a homeless person, if this was the unwelcome and rude behavior towards not only a new local family, but also a military family in need of guidance, support, and protection from losing everything they have worked so hard for. Our Christian beliefs do not condone scientific procedures founded on aborted fetuses, we are also stand firm on our belief in our God-given "free will". Scripture repeatedly states that as Christians we should not succumb to social pressure. I can now see why it is getting so much more difficult to draw in Christians to the church. This will not be a place we call home. May God open your hearts, Rivers Church. You should be ashamed of the way you handled this."

We get to hear interesting, sound biblical teaching, worship to hymns and contemporary Christian music, enjoy monthly special gatherings to fellowship with the church and have an outstanding group of people that are the staff, leaders and pastors. Such a peaceful place to be. I'm so thankful to be a part of DFA."

"Our family just started visiting this church. The pastor and his wife were extremely helpful and personal. The pastors wife showed us how to check in our 5 & 3 year old boys. Our kids loved it and said they wanted to come back. The worship was great and we will be coming back. We are considering making this our home church. Very friendly atmosphere!"
