Reviews of Four Corners Safety Association
"Due to negative reviews and word of mouth, we almost went somewhere else. We live in the Cortez area. Everything had us believing that my son would fail his first test due to not going through the behind the wheel training, which we couldn't afford or make the times work with our schedules. However, we arrived about 10 minutes early, he took the test and passed his first time! Until we left that day to head to the test appointment, my son had never driven outside of Cortez. Teach kids the proper way to drive and stop making excuses for them, and they will pass."
"I was late by 6 minutes. And all we got was a old man asking for 70 bucks. He didn't even do the test cause we were too " late". I believe this company just scams people whenever they can. It's a joke. This place sucks, they'll take your money, and ask for more"
"Oh my goodness everyone I came into contact with during the process was just absolutely amazing! Especially Mrs. Stephanie! She was so kind and respectful! And my driver's (I took the test twice) were both incredibly calm and kind, and the mistakes I made were well explained and gave tips on what I could do next time! If you need to take your driver's license exam choose them!"
"I suffered from Epilepsy since I was 19 and had to wait two years after my last seizure to get my license. I can say honestly that I felt judged for having a permit at 24, and felt like my instructor was harder on me (absolutely silent besides directions) because she must’ve thought I had to retake my drivers test. For starters, it’s $70 for 15 minutes of driving, and this place can only apparently afford two road test instructors. Judging on how many people have failed here compared to other places, I find it even weirder they can only afford two. You will have to wait months to take your test. Secondly, I arrived and the woman asked for my name and then said, “Okay so give me your permit and your money.” My money? Do you mean the road test fee? Thirdly, THE TWO INSTRUCTORS ARE DATING. I got in the car, and after she told me to adjust my seat 100 times even though i was fine the first time I adjusted it, she said goodbye to her beloved and said, “I’m sorry, babe.” And then told me there’s another student supposed to test right now that is in the wrong parking lot because they didn’t read the text correctly. People make mistakes, and i immediately was worried for my test results knowing that she seems to not care about other people’s lives except how it affects hers personally. Mostly because I had just pulled out of the wrong parking lot due to faulty directions and drove into the correct one and she saw me do it, so I genuinely thought she was being sarcastic. So it’s whatever, I failed, i know i made mistakes. But one mistake in particular she said I made is the reason I’m going to Pagosa. She said i was going 35 through a 30 (speeding) and when I met a roundabout, I sped up to 36 when taking the third exit. That means I pulled up to a roundabout, and put my foot on the gas pedal and flung us 180°. That makes absolutely no sense because I can’t even take MY car through the roundabout going 36. I tried right after the test and I was going 15. I was crying a bit while she was telling me about laws, and she said, “you can retake the test for $40.” Lol. After reading all of the other bad reviews, I know better than to test here again. Hopefully this review helps you make the right decision if you have a son or daughter who possibly struggles with anxiety. I put two stars because she, at least, gave me good directions as I’ve heard some instructors are late with directing."
