"My sister is currently staying at Kindred hospital Denver and been assisted by Dale a respiratory therapist who has genuinely shown up most kindness and capacity to relate with my sister as a person. His compassion and capacity to put himself in the patient's place puts a smile on my sister's face. Thank you for bien warm and kind and not just doing your very experience job. Kindred Hospital is lucky to have you and so are patients you take care of. Kindred Hospital Denver your employees make you who you are otherwise you are just a building. Make sure to recognize those like Dale who really make a difference with their experience, expertise, but also thier compassion, warmth, and kindness. Dale is awesome!!!!!"
"I am saddened to say, my husband was there for a little over a month until he passed away there. He had anoxic brain injury and was unable to do anything for himself. I live 200 miles away and can only see him a couple of times a week. I wish I was able to be there with him, but I have children to take care of as well. Every time I went to visit him, something was always wrong. He started off with blisters throughout his body (they said he came like that from hospital, but didn’t think they had to address me) he was biting his tongue a lot (his mouth piece was hardly ever adjusted and I would it fall out and allowing him to re-bite his tongue and he would be soiled all the time. So they took the initiative to insert a rectal tube in him; one of the physicians found out and ordered to take it out…. That’s the day he passed. There was literally only a couple of staff members that had shown compassion to him. I know they where short staff and supplies were always needed but he didn’t deserve to get neglected the way he did. He was truly an amazing human being."
"I stayed at Kindred Hospital for acute rehab. As of anyplace nothing is perfect. I would like to thank Ms. Monica for checking on me before and during my stay. I want to thank Maya for all of her hard work in answering all my questions and concerns and helping me getting my equipment and everything i needed to be successful at home as well. a great great big thank you to the awesome therapists for pushing me and getting me back on my feet. Hannah ,Tiffany ,Zac, and Chris you guys got the job done and I am forever grateful. To my awesome nurses Josephine, Wendy, Von, Annie, Jenifer, Tee, Hailey, and if I missed any my apologies but you guys took very good care of my and I and very thankful for you. My biggest complaint is the food. I am a picky eater but I can adapt but lets just say i appreciate all of the salads that was made for me. I haven't been in any other facilities to compare or not but I will say that I came for rehab and I left in better shape than when I entered and with that , JOB WELL DONE!!!"
"All the staff was kind and professional. I came here to rehabilitate and they made sure that was a priority. From the nurses to the OT/PT staff my experience with the acute rehab unit was top notch. I can’t remember all the names but if you were involved in my care I am eternally grateful. Some staff names I do remember were Annie, Wendy, Josephine, Chris, Tiffany, Hailey, Jennifer, and Zack. From the bottom of my heart I thank you."
"Not everything was perfect living in a hospital but the nurses, doctors, and staff did a good job at accommodating my special needs during recovery, including diet/medicine. I was transferred here without being able to walk, but was nursed back to a point, I could make a valiant effort. Healing isn't easily, but I am now to walk again without a walker or a nurse or PT. I was able to get off all R/X, and look back thankfully, to each person that made the challenging life/death experience better. FYI - Your family can visit and bring you food, and take you for a stroll outside for nature & sun."
