Ridgeview Elementary School

Ridgeview Elementary School is a primary school located at 6573 Shimmering Creek Drive in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. The school recently handed out Fantastic 49 Awards to March honorees and celebrated Music in Our Schools Month with a showcase of Winter Percussion. The school is proud to have a diverse community, with District 49 families speaking a total of 71 languages. The school's robotics team, known as "The Campus," is heading to the State Championship with their robot "Godzilla." Staff members who embody the district's Cultural Compass were recognized during the Fantastic 49 presentation. D49 Early Childhood Education offers free developmental screenings for children. Vista Ridge High School celebrated a milestone with a Topping-Out Event for their expansion project. Stetson Elementary School is home to a language immersion program and is currently constructing a new academic wing. District 49 podcasts, such as 49 Voices, discuss the district's approach to choice and success in education. The school district is grateful for the support of companies for the upcoming school year. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, educators at District 49 are working hard to ensure student success.
