"The teachers here are amazing, but the office staff is not, they seem to think it’s fun to make up new rules towards the end of the year, April 1st be be exact. I had to explain that I had to take my son out early to go to Brain Balance to help treat my son’s Autism and she laughed in my face and made it clear to me that she thinks of children with special needs as less. So, because of their new rules I needed to pick my children up 20 minutes earlier in order to get where we needed to be. All was good for about two weeks until about mid April then they informed me that you can’t take your kids out early after 3:30, so I started picking them up at 3:15. I think it’s stupid to make my kids miss school unnecessarily, all to sooth Miss Parra’s ego. She made it clear to me that despite my younger son’s high test scores that we are not welcome and talking to her isn't going to solve anything. At one time she pretended to not even understand what I was saying, even though I know she speaks English. In mid-May 2019, I was asked to provide proof that I paid for uniforms the previous August before the school year started, not sure if I am being singled out or if the office staff is that incompetent because it could really go either way. I had to figure out which card I used, and then had to provide proof that I did pay for them on August 6, 2018. So make sure you save all your receipts till then end of the school year. Needless to say we will not be returning in the fall. This place is not worth dealing with picking up and dropping kids off here is pure chaos, not to mention after school activities, like concerts or other mandatory events. The traffic is horrible in the car line and it is a miracle that there hasn’t been an accident. There are better alternatives for your child’s education."
"I really liked the school even though I did not have children studying in it. I would like an opportunity for my 6 year old daughter, how can I get it?"
"This school is very good and I recommend it 100%, the teachers are very good, my son is very advanced in reading and mathematics, the director and assistants are always very involved in his education, they do one hour of coffee a month for the parents, and they always give a lot of information and there is always time for the parents and to ask questions."
"If I can give you a 10 points rather than 5 I gonna do so this school is awesome, the staff are so friendly that you feel that they are your own family, the values of school are great , the teachers are so cheerful friendly helping the kids a lot and teaching them in a great way , my son loved the school to the extent that he wanted to go there on the weekends , getting your kid there will be a great thing to do , I would like to thank all the people there for the 2 years my little son Hazem spent there, wishing you all a great life"
"On the positive, I like that it is structured, it's in a close area, and the values it is aiming to teach. On the negative so far everything has been very disorganized. For example, half of my daughter's uniforms are on back order, gatherings like orientation and back to school night have been chaotic and everywhere, the drive line for pick up is a disaster; you can't even get out of the car to pick up your child. It took many traffic jams and a few potential accidents to even get in the line. My daughter had to wait 20 minutes for me to even get to her (and there for felt "she was being held prisoner" because they wouldn't bring her to me), and finally they wouldn't let her go down the slide at recess even though she had tights on under her dress simply because she was wearing a dress and they won't allow uniforms to get dirty ( even though most of us have washing machines or access to one). They might promise a good education, but they need to get organized as well as community oriented and think about what is best for the kids rather than what works for them as the runners of the school."
