"Lois Lenski Elementary is a blessing for our boys and our family. We intentionally transferred from Douglas County SD in order to tend to our sons' learning needs. Staff is solid and talented. Teachers are loyal, dedicated, attentive, kind, and FUN. Lenski community and volunteers are talented, smart, invested, and active. Lenski PTO - runs like a well oiled machine - strong, connected, knowledgeable, influential, caring, purposeful, and USEFUL. ***EVERY time we've needed information and/or assistance for our students, we've had direct access to Principal DeSpain, staff, and the ears of the teachers.*** Our boys are happy, engaged, encouraged, equipped, and set up for success. LENSKI - THANK YOU for all you do! NOTE TO INCOMING PARENTS: Lenski encourages engagement. Our success was because we purposefully embedded ourselves in the community (room parent, PTO Board, volunteering, attending meetings, one on ones with teachers, OPEN COMMUNICATION). Finding the best fit for our child(ren) can be tough. Research, share, learn, be honest. GOOD LUCK!"

"I am truly shocked at the poor reviews! Our family has been at Lenski for 11 years, have had four kids go through, and could not have been happier. We have absolutely loved our experience. The teachers and staff truly LOVE the kids. Each child is met exactly where they're at and given individualized attention when needed, whether the child is needing extra help or a child who is exceeding (I've had both). I've spent countless hours in the classroom in all grades and can truly attest to this. Their education has been phenomenal. I would not choose any other elementary school for my children."

"We transferred to Lenski from Douglas County schools during my son's kindergarten year. The school felt so warm and inviting and the staff was wonderful. All of my kids then went through Lenski and we were very impressed with the education the school provides as well as the caring the teachers give. There is a reason Lenski continues to receive the Blue Ribbon award. A wonderful school!"

"Staff is completely and entirely DISRESPECTFUL. Not only was I treated unfairly, but my child was treaten like trash. The staff are selfish, amatures. The summer program is overpriced and the volunteers are rude. Send your child somewhere they are cared for and valued."

"4 kids and I'd say overall its been a decent experience, wife would say exceptional, I however don't like it when they try and tell you how to raise your kid. I know several well Adjusted people with money, and some are even famous that most likely were able to draw blood and gore and yes almost on everything they drew at a young age. Wonder if their school felt a need to mention it to their parents. Also the rules about kids not being on the school grounds early is fairly lame. But otherwise yes educationally a great school."
