"My experience with Stevens Elementary School has been fantastic. All teachers have been quick to communicate and reply to questions or inquiries, the new Principal (new as of fall 2017) is empowering the staff to create classrooms that include hands-on and project based learning, reflection and introspection, kid centered furniture and spaces for movement, and more. Health staff provides clear communication and addresses any issues quickly and in accordance with regulations. Staff in the office know people by first name, are helpful and courteous and work hard to make connections not only with Stevens families but with the community. We "

"I am absolutely and irrevocably appalled. This is, by far, the worst school I have ever had to deal with. They don't give a damn about the individual student, and instead of assessing any kind of bullying, they let the bully roam free, and accuse the victim of being a liar and send them to the hospital for a mental evaluation when the victim finally snaps because no one will listen. The "achievement director" is nothing but a joke and a big bully herself. The assistant principal is completely oblivious to most things going on, and cops an attitude when his involvement is challenged. The entire staff is completely unprofessional and detached. The office staff is clueless and the counselor and therapist don't know how to handle any kind of conflict. If I could give this school negative stars I would. I have never EVER had so many problems with a school in such a short amount of time. Stevens elementary is nothing but a joke. From one parent to the next, don't subject your children to the atrocities at this school."

"My daughter has a great team of people at this school. She has issues with reading and writing and they really help her so much. I have moved and will not change her school because the teachers and Therapist here are so amazing."
