KIPP Sunshine Peak Elementary

KIPP Sunshine Peak Elementary is a primary school located at 3400 West Nevada Place in Denver, Colorado, United States. Our school values love, honor, curiosity, activism, and growth, and we strive to support all learners while celebrating each child's uniqueness. We offer a full-day Early Childhood Education program for 3 and 4-year-olds, full-day Kindergarten, and first through fourth grade.

At KIPP Sunshine Peak Elementary, we believe in creating an inclusive school family where all students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. We offer two language pathways for our students, allowing them to learn in their heritage language while also gaining proficiency in their non-dominant language. Our Principal, Darby West, has a background in education and literacy instruction, and she is dedicated to building a community that values equity and access for all.

Our One-Way Dual Language Program is open to students with a Spanish language background, while our Spanish World Language Program is available to those who want to explore the Spanish language.
