"Agree with these other reviews...totally shady. Went to the school to order my son's graduation cap and gown. Told them I just wanted the cap and gown. They only mentioned package C, which is a cap and gown, plus a keychain and tassel. I trusted that this package was the only option for a basic cap and gown and that the keychain and tassel were kind of a cute perk, since there were no other options on the order form or mentioned to me face to face. I paid for the basic package of $80.80, not including their handling fees and tax, then left. My friend later told me that she found the cap and gown only, way at the bottom of their website for $31.95. Totally felt hoodwinked! Their website says, "Jostens, your most trusted partner." Well, not so. That key chain and tassel cost $48.85! Their representatives are probably doing this sales tactic to each school they go to; casually not mentioning that they do offer just a cap and gown (which does come with a souvenir tassel anyway!) and pretending that the smallest package is the best they can do. That's taking advantage of a lot of parents and students. Not cool. And not ethical. Totally shady. I did finally get in touch with an associate after calling them, which they only give you an option to leave a message. They got back to me after a week of phone tag. Because again, when I call back I can only leave a message. I was able to change my order (crossing my fingers they follow through with that), but I have to mail back the tassel and keychain, and pay for it, yet another additional cost."
"Stole my money and keeps refusing to refund me. I ordered a cap and gown then canceled the order same day. It’s been almost 2 months of phone calls and trying to get my money back and they won’t give it back."
"Worst experience ever.. I ordered my sons graduation package early enough thinking I would get them on time, I got the announcements in the mail they were written incorrectly with the wrong information so I called immediately to inform them they lady I spoke with said ok you will be receiving your corrected order in 5-7 business days and I never received them so I called again the next lady I spoke with said the same thing I replied to her and said that’s what the last lady told me and here it is there weeks before graduation and I still have not received them! They’re a joke apparently they did this not only to me but to other students at the high school."
"This owner/manager for Josten's, Rick Wilding is the worst sales person I have ever had to deal with anywhere on the planet! I would give 1/32nd of a star if possible because he doesn't rate a whole star. He never turned in my daughters order for her graduations announcements. We would call and ask when we would receive the order and instead of looking up the order he gave the standard reply that they would be shipped to the school sometime in March or April. He lied to us when he said they would be reprinted and overnighted. I was promised the order by 5/15/19, when it did not arrive on 5/15 I was told they were not scheduled to be printed until 5/17/19. It's now 5/22 and still no package! He continues to lie to us. He does not return phone calls for days. It's now 4 months after we ordered graduation announcements and 16 days prior to the ceremony and I have been told the announcements are out for delivery! I will be surprised if we ever see them. Do yourself a favor and have your announcements printed at a local print shop. It will save you time, headaches and major disappointment!"
"This is a horrible company they have messed up all of my graduation stuff multiple times"
