"I have mixed feelings about this hotel and I’ll explain why. We arrived very late at night from a snow storm and when we got to our room it wasn’t quite clean. The sink was obstruct and the bottom of the shower curtain looked like it hasn’t been changed in too long. Because our arrival was so late we didn’t say anything and kept our room the way it was but no without questioning the hygiene of everything we touched. Everything else was fine but there’s always that doubt. The reservation said there was breakfast included but it was actually just yogurt and granola for breakfast, not quite as described. Other than that the hotel has very nice amenities and the staff is extremely nice. They do a really good job at minimizing waste and have a very strict way to help the eviroment. In general the hotel looks like an old motel that was turned into a more modern concept of the old outside corridor. And by the way, the windows have blackaout curtains that you might as well just keep down because everyone can see into your room if they are not shot."
"The rooms were neat, I did not care for the sliding barn door on the bathroom. Nor did I care for the vinyl plank flooring. The facility itself is kind of neat with a bar area and board games and such provided. This was nice as we met some friends their for a few days."
"Soul Community Planet offers a truly unique experience with thoughtful amenities. We took advantage of the gym in the early morning & then spent the majority of our afternoon enjoying over-sized board games & simply relaxing on the comfortable couches with a book in the commons area. I particularly love the zen-like vibe. SCP has been one of the best hotel experiences we've had & we will be returning again. The Provision Market provides delicious snacks that are locally sourced from nearby vendors. Guest can indulge in complimentary coffee (6:30 am — 5:00pm) & tea throughout their stay! I really appreciate the variety of coffee mugs to choose from (it's the LITTLE things that make this place stand out for me) The rooms at SCP are SIMPLE....yet EFFICIENT, providing the perfect place to rest after exploring all the hotel has to offer. The bed is comfortable! It was easy to get a good night's sleep here; however, to ensure a peaceful stay, I came prepared with my own fan, as outside noise is usual in hotels. But what really sets this hotel apart is its commitment to giving back: every stay helps support adolescents families of critically ill children, and tree planting initiatives."
"This is indeed a refurbished motel and the room definitely shows it age, but they did their best adding little amenities and decorative touches to spruce up the place. For me, the most important thing was that the bed was super comfy and showers were nice. On the downside, the heating unit was very loud when it turned on. I liked the vibe in the lobby, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to take advantage of it. I was driving a Tesla and the on site destination chargers charged my car back up to 100% overnight for free. Loved that! Bottom line, if you just need a place to sleep for a night or two, this is a good place. If you're looking more of a "resort" or 5-star experience, then you will probably be disappointed."
"Stayed here two nights during a marriage retreat and I can say I was honestly impressed with the vibe! I love how warm and welcoming it feels (not cold like most corporate places feel). I love how the lobby has so many activities to do with your spouse and/or your family. We took advantage of the pool table and even played some checkers (something I haven't done since I was younger). I can admit that I didn't know what to expect booking a new hotel, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There's such a huge difference between coming into a place with welcoming faces and decorative art than coming into a building with bare walls and miserable employees... Looking forward to seeing this place blossom and become a staple for their city! Thank you for the hospitality! ❤️"
