"I like this store and had high expectatioms, but was sadly disappointed with the grooming. I don't beleive she was washed, hardly brushed, the most minimal trim, didnt touch her nails (which i have trimmed several times and she is super good about it) - she looked the same as when we dropped her off, the only thing done was a slight paw trim. Thats really it. She still had a tiny poop nugget stuck to her hair under her tail, and when I mentioned it they gave excuses, then trimmed it off while I was there and she didn't fuss at all. I really feel they simply didnt want to do what she was supposed to have since they were busy. Definitely not washed didnt smell any differen, didnt smell clean. I just feel lied to and really confused on what I paid for. She wasn't even brushed out. Probably won't go here for grooming again."
"Positive, smooth experience here for myself and my dog. Friendly, animal-loving people working at very reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone."
"I visit this PetSmart for both grooming and the hotel. Ashley is the groomer I use, and she is wonderful with my Sophia. What I appreciate is that she remembers us both visit after visit and the quality of grooming is excellent. When I travel, I never worry about my Sophia at the hotel. The staff knows her, but most importantly, she never comes home stressed after her stay. I love that I can get her a full day of activities every day she stays there."
"I brought my 2.5 yo goldendoodle there for his every few month grooming. I had brought him there once before with no issues. So I brought in my dog, explained to the groomer what I wanted (we settled on a length of “5”, longer legs, and the teddy bear face), and left him in their care. About an hour later, I received a call from a woman who was not his actual groomer, stating that they had to end the groom early because my dog was anxious, flailing around, and nipping at the groomer. It was a safety issue. I was in shock, because my dog never had behaved like that at a groomers before. When I got there, he had been started to be shaved over half his body. SHORT. VERY SHORT. A FULL SHAVE. Not only did they shave his body, but they also shaved into his legs, which went against ALL that we had discuss and agreed upon. In addition, loose hair was falling off of him as we walked to the car. They didn’t even take the time to get rid of the excess hair that had already been trimmed!! He looked like he had mange. When I got him home, I spent the next hour or so fixing the monumental disaster they left me with. I finished the shave, with no excessive matting to be found. When I initially booked the grooming, I even had applied the extra brushing charge to his cut, as I knew his hair was longer, with some potential mats. So what was the extra fee I was paying for if they had no intention of brushing him out before the cut???? I brush him somewhat regularly, but got a bit behind due to the holiday season. That being said, I had worked out most of the mats he had behind his ears and a few other places at home before the appointment. He was NOT matted all over. (Note: my doodle has very thick, dense, curly hair. Brushing straightens the hair, but it frequently curls up shortly after.) I do understand that my doodle may have not been into the groom that day, was anxious, didn’t like the groomer, or whatever. I understand that safety is important, and respect that they had to cancel the appointment accordingly. BUT, they didn’t do what I had asked and left me with an awful mess. Lesson learned… DO NOT BRING YOUR DOODLE TO THIS GROOMER. They are a grooming factory. They aren’t willing to spend the time to brush out the dog if it may take a bit more time. They are just trying to get people in and out. They did not do what we had agreed upon, nor were they helpful with cleaning him up before sending him home with me in a complete mess. Rookie groomers. Again, Note: I understand grooming doodles can be challenging, time consuming, and a lot of work. BUT, if you are not willing to do it right, don’t do it at all. Stop allowing doodle owners to make appointments if this is the kind of service, or lack there of, you are going to provide. Pictures I provide show the mess he was left in. Again, no mats, just curled hair. The last photo is his leg, which shows a shave line down the leg (the other leg I had already started shaving down to match the rest of his body). Poor dood. Goodbye Petsmart."
"The grooming station needs more organization, in my opinion. I had an appointment and had to reschedule because groomers cut herself. Then went back, and they only did my dogs back legs because he was too anxious . They didn't charge me, but I feel my dog wouldn't have been anxious if they had groomed him the first day."
