"Love Mr Frank and Ms May, they're like family and just such a great influence in the community and to my life!!! I just stop by from time to time not even getting a cut, but just to check on them and see if they need anything!!! So much knowledge and history, need to be honored more in the city of DENVER!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING FOREVER"
"My 1st barber, been going there since the 70's. Original Five Points barber,I was pleasantly surprised to see him still there. He remembers my Dad bringing me to his shop."
"You know, I don't usually leave small businesses negative reviews, but my experience here was *really* bad. The guy said about three words to me the whole time. Wouldn't even talk about the weather. Now I can deal with someone not wanting to chat if they're otherwise good, but that's not the case. My fade was chunky as hell and the top wasn't cut well either. AND half way through describing what I wanted (fade from a 1 to a 3 up to here, this much off the top, etc.) he cuts me off and MAKES ME PICK FROM PICTURES ON THE WALL. It's a small, independent business, and it's super affordable. Those are the plusses. Wish there were more, but I'd recommend you go elsewhere."
"Came here after searching everywhere for a good barber. Walked was greeted cool. After the dude was done with his cut it was my turn. So the barber is an older guy and told me he's been there for a good Lil min. So me giving him the benefit of the doubt decided to let him cut my hair. So, if you've been getting your hair cut like me since I was about 5 can feel if a barber is doing right. So I'm sitting there and every time he goes to cut my hair it doesn't feel right. So long story short I get done I look at it and it looks decent kinda cut my side burns kinda far and my hair line pushed back. Hut I blamed that on not washing it with a hot rag when I get home. So I finally make it home and take a hot rag to my face and hair and my left side side burns actually looks pretty decent, very sharp. So I look at my other side and its uneven. Around my ears its even worse because usually its rounded behind the ears but he literally cut a big circle around my ears. Like I said in the first place I tried to give him the benefit of a doubt that he was older and had been there for a long time. Plus, I want to support black business, but this shop is one that I will never go back and I urge whoever reads my review to do the same...."
"I've been having my hair cut at Mr. Stigers on a semi-annual basis for the last decade. I live in Towaoc, Colorado ( Ute Mountain Ute Indian Reservation ) and whenever I'm in town I make a beeline to Mr. Stigers barbershop.... Thank you sir!, for great haircuts and real conversation. Peace!"
