"Brought clothes to sell, they didn't buy any. But am still missing my cardigan jacket and I asked them to check their cameras, and they still have not gotten back to me on it. This shows guilt on their part. They literally stole my nice jacket I tried to sell to them. So don't get mad next time I go shopping here, god says he will bless by 10x the price?? So now that its been about a year, and I've checked back with your store and left messages, 10x price is fair, and then im walking out.. God bless..."
"They told me it would be 40-50min to sort through the clothes I was intending to sell. I cam back after receiving a text an hour and a half later that they were ready. They were not actually ready and I waited an additional 20min. Staff was very unprofessional. Eating mcdonalds fries out of a fanny pack then proceeding to sort through clothing with greasy fingers. Yelling profanities to eachother. I understand the staff is young, but someone needs to supervise them... I also felt like the security guard was watching me. I didn't even shop in the store... He made me feel uncomfortable for sure."
"A very overwhelming and overstimulating experience yesterday. I’m 8 months pregnant. I came in with my 1.5 year old. I rarely get to shop with my little, so this was a good opportunity to get some shopping experience for the both of us (but this was very short lived, and sad). I was immediately greeted by staff before I could even glance around my surroundings. I won’t mention names, as this behavior is most likely pushed by higher management. She was sweet, just did too much with my experience here. I was asked what I was shopping for- a maternity dress for a small photo shoot. Staff explained they do not have a maternity section (I know, I’ve been to Plato’s many times…) but pointed me in the direction for dresses. I was already overwhelmed with the introduction honestly due to all the information I was given that I didn’t ask for, and didn’t ask for a personal shopper to stand next to me and my child. As I quickly shifted through the selection, I was BOMBARDED by the staff way too many times. This severely interfered with my little one, and also was using up so much of what little time I had to shop. I’m not trying to spend hours in here with swollen feet and my little one. I felt so distracted, rushed, watched, hounded, and this really really stressed me out. I had to explain to the staff - I’m only here for a dress, which in my case will be hard to find, and I don’t expect to find much. The few I did see and managed to try on we’re all in rough shape- lots of rips and torn seams. Lastly- the red headed staff, finally crossed my last line of patience. My daughter is less than 2 feet from my side, watching and learning how mom is shopping, so my daughter was nicely looking through the swimming suits at the bottom level shelf, when the red head approaches and forcibly directs my daughter to “go back over there” and points to me, then starts herding my daughter with hand gestures like she’s about to start pushing her in my direction, while also blocking the next swimming suit from my daughter with her hand. This INSTANTLY triggers me, as 1) You are NOT the effing parent, 2) Where the eff did you even come from? 3) Never direct or tell someone else’s child what the eff to do. I understand these staff are younger, ignorant, childless college students, but My daughter was being so well behaved, and wasn’t doing ANYTHING wrong or disruptive to the store, clothes, or shoppers. I had to verbally tell the red head staff to back off and yell “DO NOT TOUCH HER.” The red head was also seen giving another shopper grief and denied them of trying on a pair of heels. Long story short - After this encounter, I headed to the dressing room, didn’t find a single item worth this experience, returned all the items to the return rack, and left with my daughter. No purchase necessary here. I will never return to this location again. This location needs PROFESSIONAL HELP."
"Was just selling clothes and while waiting a short amount of time appox.15 mins security guard proceeded to Act like he wasn't following me around Inside the Store picking or peaking around Racks ofclothes trying to Acting as if I was stuffing my bag. Full of merchandise which clearly I was not and was very insulted, will not be returning to the store Not because of the staff, but due to The behavior Security guard I am not being dramatic. And was unprovoked. I understand that this is to make sure merchandise is being purchased and not stolen , but at what point Can you consider it harassment? Never been made to feel so uncomfortable. How do you explain But if you've been in the situation, you can understand how uncomfortable and insulted. One would feel though I'm simply trying to do business. And instead of being made you feel like a criminal."
"I love the store, amazing selection and great prices. However I’m assuming she was the manager on duty tonight was awful to what I am assuming was a new employee. Talking down to her instead of giving constructive criticism. I have never heard a “manager” talk to someone with such disrespect. If that is what kind of ship playtos is running I will no longer support it."
