Reviews of Gen-X Clothing
"I would really like to give this store a five star review. However, my experience during check out wasn’t what I called the greatest impression. Apparently one of these immature customers who is still seeking to find out what adulthood is, was having a conversation about somebody apparently stealing in the store. This customer brought up an unnecessary conversation about me wearing a mask to the female clerk. Had aThis customer brought up an unnecessary conversation about me wearing a mask to the female clerk. Had no idea what that conversation had to do with somebody else stealing. But due to me, having a mask on.?, I couldn’t believe the head female clerk was having this conversation about my mask being an issue. All people who wear mask don’t steal. But you know how some of these young kids that think they’re adults are. They’ll say anything for attention. I ignored this conversation and almost didn’t make a purchase to the store. But I didn’t want to hold the clerk responsible for such a dumb response from a customer who probably steals his self. So, as I brought my hoodie up to the counter to pay for it, I greeted the female clerk with a hello and she responded back hi. The only reason why this approach was so awkward, is she had the assumption that two other guys were stealing in the store. She seemed at first to be more focused on that rather than my purchase. I guess they figure it out real quick that I wasn’t the stealing culprit. I’ve been going to the store for over two decades and haven’t been to the mall in ages. And this is one of the many reasons why I don’t shop in the mall no more. Gen X stores have had a history of misleading and falsely accusing anybody who walks in store. I’ve seen it for years on how they follow people around or Stan in certain areas. Everybody doesn’t steal in this world. People such as myself make an honest living of working for what I own. The only thing I could give this store a five star review is the older gentleman who works there. He displays excellent customer service and is very knowledgeable of not only the store but caring about customers. It’s almost like it felt like a criminal in the store and wasn’t one. People should be very careful not only as a customer or store clerk on who they think they’re suspicious of.. every store I go to in every state has had the same mentality when you walk in."
"We went in looking for a size and the old man working kept saying I took out those sizes but my husband found a lot of those sizes and the old man got mad because my husband said he found his size then the man kept rushing us to pay and when we finally did he kept mumbling then his wife was being rude laughing and then she yelled and hit the computer when I asked how much it was.. so my husband told them just to cancel the transaction and they started telling us go don't come back and was saying rude stuff til we left...I wasn't upset because they had the same clothes I saw two years ago but karma will catch up to them"
"I went to this store yesterday to look for a specific pair of pants. I didn’t find the pants, but that’s beside the point. I’m giving this place 1 star because while I was in the store, one of the ladies from behind the counter came out and was walking around the store clipping her nails and dropping them onto the floor. The lady stood over the stacks of folded pants and clipped her nails onto the pants, and then brushed the nail clippings off of them onto the floor. That is absolutely VILE, there is ZERO excuse for that, I will tell every single person I know to never shop here. Disgusting."
"I have been shopping at this store for years. Today was the first day I was refused a return. Yesterday I returned an Alstyle t and today I was told no....? Why doesn't it say ANYWHERE in the store or on the receipt that all sales on AAA shirts are final? I spend usually about $400 a month on shirts for my screen printing business, now I'll take my business elsewhere! I loved the owner, but the snotty employee will not get my business."
"Do not buy here save your money. The women that work there are awful. They are rude as hell and stare you down everywhere you turn. Not a second of peace you get here. I bought some pants came home and didn’t fit. So went straight back to the store to exchange them. Spoke to the lady I just bought them from. Said nope sorry no receipt no exchange store policy with the ugliest look on her face. I definitely will not be going back to this place."
